Chapter 1: What is discussed at the start of this section?
This is an iHeart Podcast.
Guaranteed human. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo, and every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the biggest moments in sports, and giving you the real story behind the headlines.
And we're going straight to the source, the athletes themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions in the moment, and the stuff nobody gets to hear. Listen to Sports Slice on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And for more, follow Timbo Slice Life 12 and the TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy? Not quite. On Humor Me with Robert Smigel and Friends, me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guests, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between-songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter. Listen to Humor Me with Robert Smigel and friends on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, guys? This is Clifford Taylor IV, and on my podcast, The Clifford Show, I'm bringing you conversations about all kinds of stuff, like being an internet-famous referee. We're in the middle of a game. This linebacker... Hey, you know these kids. This linebacker walks up to me, he goes, Hey, ref, my mom wants you to wave at her. What? ! Quarterback on offense, blue, 42.
Hey, Rhett, my mama wants you to wave at her.
What? Where she at? Hey, Ms. Parker.
Listen to The Clifford Show on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.

Chapter 2: What are the latest rumors about the Iceman album?
Exactly. They ain't paying for that.
That's crazy. I went in my DM request on Twitter for the first time in a very long time. Lit, right? Yeah, because I had asked. I need somebody to make me a YouTube intro. So I was like, you know, people were reaching out to me. So I went in there. Mad dick. Like, why is you niggas sending mad hammer to my Twitter? That's weird.
Has that ever worked? Huh? Like pics?
Videos.
I just, like, has that worked? What do you mean? Has any man successfully sent a complete unsolicited dick pic to a stranger with no hi, no nothing, just their dick?
Well, he said hi.
And a girl was like, hey. Yeah.
Yeah.
No way. You just work with me. I don't know. I mean, I ain't going to hold you one of them shits. I was like, oh, I was about to say, I see you. You know, like, I see you. Okay.

Chapter 3: How do the hosts feel about recent music releases?
That's what she celebrates with you, too. You know what I mean? Yeah. But yes, Happy Mother's Day to Kia. Thank you, Kia. It was a really nice day. Once, her and Amara went to sleep. I had to turnpike, though. I was out in the streets. I was in Philadelphia celebrating the Knicks win. I went to the Jay Electronica show, which was a great time.
In a Knicks t-shirt.
It's a great way to celebrate. In a Knicks t-shirt with Jay Electronica. It was a good time. Ended up just staying down there because I wasn't driving back. But yeah, it was a good show. I suggest anyone, if he's coming to your city, to go to the show. And that's my plug. Shout out to Jay Electron Hanahanahanaka. I forgot how much I like Philly, though. Philly's a great city.
It's crazy that it is only like an hour away and we don't go like often. I have more fun in Philly these days than I probably do in New York. If I could find like, you know what I'm saying, three things to do in Philly while I'm there, then I would spend more time in Philly. I have to have that like mapped out before. I don't really know.
Sweeping their national basketball team is always fun too, though. Oh, that was fun. That's a good activity. You know, the Knicks had a great weekend. But yeah, I need to find certain things to do in Philly so I can spend like a day in Philly. I don't really know a lot of people in Philly. So I can't like call somebody and be like, yo, what's up, man? I'm going to come down for the day.
You're vegan. It's a great food city, but not for vegans. It's a great vegan city, too. It's a lot of Muslims. Big Muslim community. Yeah. So it's not a lot of pork options, but there's still plenty of. That's a big vegan community. Okay. Vegan. See, you don't know. He don't know.
He now tapped into the vegan Facebook. He want that swine.
You know how many Muslims I was with yesterday? He still got swine on his mind. You know what I'm saying? So I got to help him out a little bit. I got to show you some good vegan. Got that swine on the brain? Yeah. I got to show you some good vegan in Philly, though. But there was a lot that did happen this weekend. There was Versus. There was the Kevin Hart thing. There was basketball.
Where do we want to start? I admittedly did not watch Versus. You didn't watch it? Come on, man. You got to watch the Versus.

Chapter 4: What insights do the hosts share about Chris Brown's new album?
At that point. That's really why I'm highlighting this is outside of just what he said with Ebro. I thought that was corny as fuck that Ross did that. based off their history and how weird it was for him to enter that. Like I could see it. People do that. If there's some real bad history there, there isn't that history. You're just weird. Like, I want to hear that. Like the fuck did he do to you?
Right.
Yeah, but a lot of that was weird in that moment. Well, we know that now looking back two years. We know a lot of the things that happened was weird. A lot of the things that was said was weird. A lot of things felt like it came out of nowhere. What was that for? What issue does this person have with him? It was a lot of that going on, but it was also a moment for people to try to capitalize.
and try to you know gain whatever they could out of the moment like and we said that when he jumped in and we was like yo bro I even said it I was like yo Ross just fall back this ain't this ain't the time for that right now like I remember saying like yo this ain't this is a one on one like this ain't we don't really need that right now we don't care about what that is like we could do that after it just didn't feel right it felt like you was trying to get in on it and capitalize in the moment we said that so looking back yeah it's like bro that was just a weird a weird moment
And rappers are weird. So, I mean, it's not like a surprise there. And I didn't want to make it like a Drake. I just thought it was really odd when I saw that clip of him saying, don't do Drake's hook. And it's like, bro, why? He cleared the record. You're weird. Hey, have fun. It's not even a defending Drake thing. It's just an observation of how odd that looks. Yeah, very weird.
But it is Iceman week. So sorry, guys. We're going to be talking about Drake. He's one of the biggest artists ever. We're going to be talking about his album. I'm not talking about Drake until the album comes out. Well, Charlamagne did this morning. He had Iceman updates. I don't know if you saw that. I didn't. Or how accurate they are. I didn't. I'm not trying to... I didn't see Charlamagne.
No, I laughed at the deep breath, the inhale you took. You was like...
I didn't hear Charlemagne's Iceman update. He said Future and Karol G will be on Iceman. He said that Drake got upset that he leaked that Future was going to be on the album and kicked everyone out the studio. Now nobody's allowed in the studio because Charlemagne had leaked that. Also, he said DJ Khaled. Wait, wait, wait. Back up. Drake got mad that Charlemagne leaked that.
Said that Future was on the album. And then Charlamagne was in the studio? No, no, no. After he leaked that, Drake kicked everyone out of the studio because maybe there was a leak in there that told Charlamagne what was going on. And here's my thing. There's a mole. I can see that for like some real specific information.

Chapter 5: What are the latest rumors surrounding Don Toliver and J. Cole?
Right. Because you because they had J. Cole higher than Don Tolliver. And at the date they stopped the list, which was a little bit after the fall off came out. I said Don Tolliver at the time of the list was not hotter than J. Cole when the fall off drop. I don't think that that's a crazy take. And I'm not apologizing for that.
He was hotter than he's hotter now.
OK.
Yeah.
He hasn't let up.
I'm not. No, Don Toliver is probably the hottest.
No, the Octane numbers are, like, they should be studied right now. I've never seen an album maintained in this era the way Octane has.
Don Toliver is probably the hottest rapper right now.

Chapter 6: How does the crew react to the Rolling Loud events?
It's fucking nuts.
He's been the hottest rapper. But he was not hotter than J. Cole in the fall. Also, have you listened to Octane? That's just my opinion. There are some of it.
It's also, like, usually when albums do this shit, it's because the kids and his music I fucking hate. That Octane album is incredible.
like it's the best album this year so far i'm not mad at that take at all it's really good i'm yeah i'm not mad i'm not mad at maul's take either but i'm also i'm not apologizing for what i say because what i said still makes perfect sense no it doesn't j cole was never hotter than this nigga okay no the way i mean the week of the fall off j cole was the hottest rapper so you think they based it on that week
Not even that week. Leading up to the fall off, outside of sales, because obviously before the fall off, the fall off hadn't come out yet. Outside of sales, yes, everybody was talking about J. Cole. Y'all might have talked about Don Toliver on this motherfucking podcast once or twice. Y'all came here talking about J. Cole for two months. Like, I don't think what I said is crazy.

Chapter 7: What insights are shared about the Kevin Hart roast?
If you're talking about hype and anticipation for that time, yes. Niggas been waiting for the fall off since the fucking beef. Like, I'm not... I don't think that that's crazy. But shout out to Don, and he deserves everything that he's getting. The music is good. And he is hot as fuck. He is probably the hottest rapper right now, for sure.
Probably?
Probably, yeah. I would have to look at some shit, but yeah, I'm not mad at somebody saying he's the hottest rapper right now. Did you see his rolling outfit? No, I didn't watch any of the rolls. Outside of trims, I didn't watch any of the rolling outfits. He's selling like 200 weeks still.
Chapter 8: What are the implications of the Knicks' playoff performance?
Just look at one of those clips. Actually, just look at when he came out.
But he was hot when we saw his show. They went crazy when we saw him at Made in America that year. Remember that?
And he's probably double as popular since then. Maybe even triple. But no, I did see clips from his set. It did look great.
Shout out to him.
He love a forest on stage, doesn't he? Why is Don Sullivan always in the woods? I mean, you know, it's that Octane. Is he from Houston too? Where's Don Tyler from? He's from Texas, I believe. Okay. That's great. Well, shout out to Rolling Loud because that's crazy. He's from Houston. That's great. And it was a nonviolent Rolling Loud, right? Everyone in the city of Orlando was safe?
I haven't heard anything. Love to hear that type of stuff. Yeah. A college football player got shot at Rolling Loud?
Yeah.
Okay, but was that, like, Florida State shit, or was that because of Rolling Loud? Yeah, did somebody recognize him as, like, a rivalry or something? Like, I don't... I'm glad he's okay, at least. Yeah, hopefully he is okay. Playboy Cardi security. Well, that's Reggie Little. Yeah, that just sounds like, you know, that's something that should happen at a festival.
He was shot in Mississippi at a concert.
