All right, so in 1917, Converse launched the original non-skid All-Star basketball sneaker. Iconic. Then a few years later, basketball player Chuck Taylor joined Converse as a salesman, a promoter, a spokesperson. And by the 30s, they had officially created the Chuck Taylor All-Star sneaker. Over the years, the styles have come and gone and changed a little bit, but the 1970s style. Has become the most iconic. That black and white sneaker laced up all the way to the ankles, and it had that star logo on the heel. And it came in a bunch of colors as well. You know, the purple, the blue, especially in the 80s, it's like iconic. The red was very iconic, um, and all the other different colors.
