This one comes in from Fergal Finley. And Fergal says, my fact is that sliced bread was invented on the 7th of July, 1928, whereas national treasure David Attenborough was born on the 8th of May, 1926.
Therefore, sliced bread is, in fact, the best thing since David Attenborough. And we're off the blocks. So that's a very small window of David Attenborough being the best thing. Yeah, and he was only a baby at the time actually. Hadn't really achieved too much at that point. He probably crawled around sort of pointing at his pet tortoise going, here we are. Just a nice fact about sliced bread and David Attenborough being about the same age. Yeah, I think it's always surprising how new sliced bread is. And the famous fact is that it was advertised as the best thing since wrapped bread. Yes, absolutely. That's so good. And the idea being that you would slice your own bread, obviously, but rat bread was good because it would keep it fresh.
And it stayed softer.
And it stayed softer. You wouldn't want to have sliced bread before that because it would just go stale really quickly. So once rat bread came in, then you could start slicing it. There was no point having it before then. And thankfully, no one has ever sliced David Attenborough.

MLK has a cameo, doesn't he? He does. And playing the role of Predator in the suit. Mother Teresa.

So it's a real hell of a cast. No, Jesse Ventura is who I meant to say. What's interesting is that this guy, Sonny, he actually ran for governor in Kentucky. And had he have got that, he would have been the third cast member who made it into politics as a governor in America. Oh, because Schwarzenegger did. Schwarzenegger did and Jesse Ventura did as well. So he didn't make it, unfortunately. And he was just very fighty and aggressive. He was very aggressive and he was a big guy and he was totally fine on the set, it turned out. It wasn't needed. But the studio, for insurance purposes, thought we better protect this guy from killing everyone else on set. What's interesting as well is someone famous was meant to be the Predator.
So if you don't know this movie, it was like an 80s action film, Arnold Schwarzenegger. And there was this monster, it looks a bit like Alien.
