This is a headgum podcast.

Welcome to the campaign after the campaign. This is not another DD podcast.
Jake Hurwitz 0:19
Welcome back to Skaldova,
Unknown 0:20
everybody. I panicked, I almost forgot what we used to do, but then I remembered at the very last second. Wow.
Emily Axford 0:28
I remembered.
Caldwell Tanner 0:29
You just spoke in your normal voice, which is
Jake Hurwitz 0:31
high pitched and scared. That's true. There you go. I'm your dungeon master, Jake Hurwitz, joined by Brian Murphy.
Unknown 0:37
Wearing a full suit because of my bad tattoos, Zodric of the Murder. You try to get an office job? No. Full suit
Jake Hurwitz 0:45
of armor. Oh. He is handsome under there. Yes. Emily Axford.
Emily Axford 0:49
Kissing ladies' hands and ruining my pants. It's Wally Hamdown. Here
Jake Hurwitz 0:54
it is. We're so back. We are back, but are we all back? We've also got Caldwell Tanner.
Caldwell Tanner 1:00
On our way to the new crib, after I told a mighty fib, it's Boggy Roger. My dark truth's laid bare.
Emily Axford 1:09
I saw your ass before I saw your truth.
Caldwell Tanner 1:13
Indeed, I should tattoo my friend's names on my ass so that they can both be one. When did Wellie start cussing?
Emily Axford 1:20
Sorry, uh your Ender's cheeks. Your sweet cheeks.
Caldwell Tanner 1:24
I thought she was referring to the ass that we inherited at our bastion. It's an actual ass.
Emily Axford 1:29
Yeah, that's true.
Jake Hurwitz 1:30
Yeah, Bastion, exactly. But before we get too far, how about a little recap? Last season, our three comical compatriots took a deadly jet job and ventured into a sunken castle to rescue three missing adventurers. You searched for these wayward travelers and found answers to questions long forgotten along the way. For one, you learn that this castle, the Dawnhold, once belonged to Princess Lynark Summer, a beloved princess whose Death marked the end of the Age of Stories. Deep beneath the keep, you discovered the body of Cicada, the princess's pet dragon, slain by the hilt himself. You learned that this god of the people had turned against them and plunged Skaldova into war. And among these remnants of the past, you also found pieces of yourselves.
Jake Hurwitz 2:12
Welly found the name of her ancestor, carved into an ancient sword.
Emily Axford 2:16
Welma.
Jake Hurwitz 2:16
Boggy found a map with a mysterious mark in the bog he once called home. And Zudric finally found a cause worth pledging himself to, his two new friends. You also found what you set out for: the three missing adventurers, and of course the man behind it all, Bulric the Banished and his cult drinking from a cistern poisoned by the body of the princess's decomposing dragon. Yet not all you were looking for was lost. There is still hope that the princess. May not have died after all. Salsoa, Sal new. You emerge from the earth battered, bloodied, and carrying something considerably more valuable than treasure. A pocket frog named William Schitz. Apack.
Unknown 2:52
Ha ha ha.
Jake Hurwitz 2:54
Oh. And perhaps the truth, or at least a new story, one that is being written as we speak. For your service, the Duke of Silk granted you a bastion of your own, Fort Delathorne, an old stronghold in the lake country southeast of Mudtown. But before you had a chance to celebrate, another piece of the past came knocking. Boggy received a letter from his nemesis, Billiam Longskin, the fish baron of Goodport. One of Boggy's buds, long thought to be long dead, longest time. Is still alive. So with a new home waiting somewhere on the road ahead and an old friend waiting at the end of it, you set out across Soldova, and that is where this story begins.
Unknown 3:31
I am so tired. I cannot wait to get home. It's just our sleep schedule has just been off. And it's just gonna be so
Caldwell Tanner 3:40
good to just get eight and and just go to bed at like ten. Have you thought about just shoving a pillow right inside your helmet so you're a little more comfortable while you're sleeping?
Emily Axford 3:48
It's not that, it's the I I gotta agree with Zutrik here. He doesn't wanna be tired during the day.
Unknown 3:54
Yeah, we just keep
Emily Axford 3:56
We just have a really bad sleep schedule.
Caldwell Tanner 3:59
It's not a matter of like the pillow situation. When you confine yourself to a schedule, you allow yourself to be subject to all the rules of man. You must free yourself. You must wake in the night and frolic in the lake. Get the leeches and munch on the leeches as you dance beneath the moonlight. That is the boggy way, friends.
