What is this episode's intro and show setup?
This is Swaying Drunk. You fucking work it out. I'm in enough trouble as it is. This is not for radio.
There we go. Happy Friday to you. Hope for your Fridays travelling well. We'll be back full steam ahead as of this coming Monday. But in the meantime, another one of our double episode smash together best ofs. We've got episode number 438 and 597. These are ones that were behind the paywall for just our sniper elites. But you'll be hearing them for the first time.
Is this the one where we explain doggy style, cowboy spurs, crook book on dogs, and kid's book on sex?
I think so, Jay. Also, a burglar versus a camel bull, Jay's bad idea, and ruining movies with the word foreskin. Which is classic. Petty, but classic. That one went berserk. Yeah, great. Great stuff. Thank you very much to the show sponsors, Classic Builders. We love your work. Back in Not For Radio, they're what we would call the people's builder. Big enough to know what they're doing. Local enough to still answer the phone.
This is Ali from Fort Worth, Texas. Don't squat with your fucking spurs on. You're listening to Not For Radio with Jay and Noah.
Hello, mates. Welcome back to another summer edition of Not For Radio. That's an actual cowboy problem. Yeah. That's a problem I've never thought about.
And cowgirl problem also. Yes. Yeah. Cow kid problem. People that wear fucking spurs problem. That's what it is. I saw them running a set. All of them had them on Yellowstone. And I was like, man, they're fucking cool. And they sound cool when they're walking along as well.
You'd look like an absolute fucking knobby if you tried to get away with them in New Zealand. I know. Don't even think about it. The only time you could have is when we had the Western Party for a Christmas party here at work.
But could you, and I'm looking for wiggle room here, hypothetically, if you were to be an actual, you wouldn't even wear them shepherding. You just fucking couldn't. Can you drive a car with them on? I'd say so. They'd just be like a little pivot point. But how niggly must they be? Like if you were to put like, say for example, that little sweet spot there where you fucking jab somebody when you walk past them if you're an asshole. That's what the horse is getting those spurs into. So you're going to actually get some and mount them on my elbows to keep you in line.
I reckon just put them on the backs of your hands and... Cool either way, though. Well, I'm going to put that on the list of things I need to buy, Jay. For the man that's got everything, they would be an absolutely fucking useless purchase and an Anna would hate, but you would love.
How did the hosts introduce the cowboy spurs and cowboy boot conversation?
Oh, so you just put them on the bookshelf?
Yeah. We didn't end up getting cowboy boots. If I had cowboy boots, I could justify them. Just wear them with your vans. Sick, mate. I've got fucking strip hot sticks so far.
Hey, you don't know it's going to look shit until you've tried it. Don't write it off. Yeah. Hey, for today's podcast, we thought we might just do some of the content from the radio show. Yeah. That's more applicable for the Not For Radio format because obviously not everything can work well on radio because we like having our jobs and being able to pay our mortgage. But, for example, Crookbook from Ian Adams. Three dogs were sitting in the waiting room at the vet. The black Labrador asked the yellow Labrador, so why are you here? The yellow Lab replied, I'm a pisser. I piss on everything. The sofa, the curtains, the cat, the kids. But the final straw was last night when I pissed in the middle of the owner's bed.
The black Lab said, so what's the vet going to do? She's going to cut my nuts off, came the reply from the yellow Lab. They reckon it'll calm me down. And why are you here? The yellow Lab asked the black Lab. I'm a digger. I dig under fences, dig up flowers and trees. I dig just the hell of it. When I'm inside, I dig up the carpets. But I went over the line last night and I dug a great big hole in my owner's couch. So what are they going to do with you, the yellow lab inquired? Looks like I'm losing my nuts too, the dejected black lab said.
