The report found that when Americans vote in the next presidential race, the average age of the equipment they'll use will be close to 10 years old. In Louisiana, for instance, some voters under 30 will use machines this year that are older than they are. Will Adler of the Bipartisan Policy Center says voting equipment is like any technology, where there are usability and security benefits to replacing it regularly. Local officials just don't have room in their budgets. The number one obstacle that we heard officials cite when talking about why have you not upgraded to new equipment is cost. In a statement, Marco Rubio said the Red Command, or CV, and the First Command of the Capital, or PCC, were, quote, "...two of the most violent criminal organizations in Brazil, and that their influence and illicit networks extended into the U.S. The gangs are now considered specially designated global terrorists."
