Live from NPR News in New York City, I'm Duahlisa Kautao. Protesters marched through the streets of downtown Chicago in response to President Trump's threats to send the National Guard and Immigration and Customs officers into the city. NPR's Kat Lonsdorf is in Chicago with the latest.

Almost ninety postal operators announced suspension of some or all of their shipments to the U.S., saying it was unclear how to implement the tariff. The Universal Postal Union has now developed a special online calculator to get the duties from the customers sending the package. The union hopes this will help restore global shipping.
