I'm not going to spend any time at all on news and notes. I'm going to get right into that conversation with our special guest. who is me. Yep, that's right. I had Bridget Hall from ACI spend time at our fall member meeting interviewing me, talking through some of the things I think are important for the FPC and for the industry, and also having some fun. So I hope you guys enjoy the episode, and we'll be back in two weeks with episode 101. All right. And I am, of course, joined by the esteemed Bridget Hall.

Likewise, likewise. And as everybody knows, hopefully, the structure of the show is typically I get somebody on there and I spend 20 minutes or so chatting with them about payments and about things that they're interested in and hobbies and things like that, just to kind of get to know the person, but also talk about the things that are topical. And so that's what we're going to do up here on stage. Except Bridget's going to be interviewing me.
Yeah, I really thought this would be, you've gotten to do 99 of these episodes. And I thought it would be really fun to say, hang on, let's interview Reed. Reed is our special guest today, and I'm very excited to be hosting today's podcast. So, Reed, welcome to the show. Thank you.

Really great to have you as the Faster Payments Council Executive Director and CEO. Great. Great. Good stuff. So we're going to be talking about payments today.
Payments. I know it.
And I really wanted to start out, you've done 99 episodes, and I wanted to start out with episode number one.
That's where we started.
Yes. How long ago was episode number one?
February. I had to look this up. It was February 8th, 2021. And it was. Did he leave? No. Come on, Steve. Are you still here? Where's Steve Ledford? They're not Steve Ledford. You're Steve Wasserman. That's going to be weird in the recording. I guess you left. But it was Steve Ledford. It was awesome. He was still at the Clearinghouse at the time. Great conversation about the RTP network at that point, nearly five years ago. And also great conversations about college football and beer.
So really similar to the conversations we've had the last couple of days here.

Some things never change. What's been some good memories, though, of the podcast on the different kind of conversations that you've had?
Oh, man, there's been so many. I think the things I think about are, so I had Art Brisky on with Jim McGatts from PayPal. That was a super interesting episode. Lots of conversations about P2P payments and what was happening. Art was actually at Goldman at the time. He's now at Wells. Had Art on again from Wells, and it was another interesting conversation. But we also had Mark Field from Liberty Bank, a very, very small bank in Illinois. Philippa's down here in front. I'm going to call her out. She was on recently. We talked about all kinds of stuff with MasterCard and with rowing. I know you're going to talk about some of that stuff later. I think the thing that I always just reflect on is just the variety of people we have in this sort of family or community that we've created here at the FPC and how interesting it is to hear a lot of the things that are commonly on their minds when it comes to their work and also, frankly, a lot of the things that we all have in common when it comes to stuff that we do outside of work.
