What is this 'Leave It At The Door' compilation episode about?
Hi, dolls. I am still in Ibiza filming, which means there won't be a new episode of Olivia's House this week, which I'm absolutely devastated about. However, I'm not going to leave you unfed. We are going to do a confirmation of all the best bits from Leave It At The Door from the series so far. Because ultimately, I know you guys just want to laugh, and there's so many funny ones. So if you want to put something on a list and laugh for 40 minutes, this is going to be for you. And I'll be back very, very soon with a brand new episode. Thank you for always tuning in, sticking with us. You are the reason we are the number one female-hosted podcast in the country. Never get bored of saying that. And my leave at the door this week is 16-pound waters in nightclubs in Ibiza.
What the fuck is that about? Miss you, Giles, and I'll see you very, very soon.
Grace, what would you like to leave at the door? What are you sick of at the minute? What are you over? Come on, I know you're going to give me something. What am I over? Oh, God. It can be a rumor, it can be a trend.
Diary of a CEO. Oh, my God!
I love that. Unanimous. This is so funny. I saw your sketch on your Instagram and I was really laughing. And I don't know how, I need to check that she doesn't mind me saying this. I don't know for what reason, I can't remember, but Joanne Manali forwarded me a clip of that Chris. Yes. And she wrote, get on this knob. And I just read it in her voice, you know, get on this knob head or something. Honestly, what the fuck was he on about?
Why did Olivia start the episode with a rant about Ibiza nightclub water prices?
What were they, either of them, did they even know? They just say yes to each other. Stephen Bartlett just says yes and just sort of yes ands everything. He's like an amazing improv partner. Fact checks, nothing. Fact checks, nothing. Like, he just takes it and he's like, wow. He's moved away from doing these wild health episodes where people are like, you know, eating lettuce every day gives you cancer. Or the guy who was like, that's why I did my video about microbiomes. This clip, for anyone that hasn't seen it, that's gone viral for all the wrong reasons, is him and, is it Chris Williamson? Is that his name? Yeah, the one who was on Love Island. I mean, and you didn't couple up. Do you know what I mean?
Yeah. They're talking basically about... As two childless men, they're very concerned about declining birth rate and, like, what should we do? And, like, God forbid a man's, like, DNA dies out. Exactly. God forbid. And apparently that's why incels are so depressed and lonely because they're worried that their DNA is going to die out and their surname is going to die out. And then he had this other guy on who said that we need to create a system to introduce incels to women so that they'll procreate. And it's like... We had that. It's called the 1960s. Yeah, exactly. It's called The Handmaid's Tale. You can look it up and watch it. It's called No One Wants to Fuck You. Get over it. Literally. But this is my thing.
And I honestly always say I don't fucking hate men.
How did guests react to viral podcast clips and questionable interviews (Diary of a CEO clip)?
I actually don't. This is not a man-hating thing. But it's just I felt for the first time in history, men are feeling the consequences of being insufferable. because women have their own money they can vote they can drive it's all about power exactly so we don't actually need to settle for some like arsehole like I mean some people do anyway but that's the whole point that's why some women just aren't settling down because they think what are you going to bring to my life nothing But honestly, this is how I feel at the moment. I feel like God, I'm really happy because I haven't got a man that's sort of stressing me out and making me feel a lot of the I know that Joanne was spoke about this when she came on.
But like me and Joanne have similar experiences. I think it's about being like funny, full of ourselves women. But I whenever I'm with a man, they just do go out of their way to make me feel worse about myself and sort of the energy that I'm putting out there. And then so I feel so good when I'm not in that situation.
