This week we have a bonus episode that I really loved, and maybe I'm a little bit biased on this one because it comes from a couple named Jack and Chelsea, which is, of course, my name and the name of my wife, which is very strange. Funny enough, we also have an episode coming in the future from people who share my last name as well, possible long-lost relatives of mine. Who knows? Luckily that is the only thing I have in common with these four people because Both of the stories are extremely frightening. We have been hard at work recently recording so many new episodes, many, many scary ones. In fact, we have done enough that we have some excellent bonus episodes coming for you, like the one you're about to hear right now.
Like I said, this comes from Jack and Chelsea. They were dating at the time. Living in Cincinnati, and the whole saga began when they moved into a very old brick house. At first, this was a really fun house. They had tons of roommates, they had lots of parties, lots of late nights, everything was lighthearted and fun. But eventually, strange things started to happen. And living in this house finally became a very terrifying experience. At first the things that were happening to Jack and Chelsea were so random and seemingly unrelated. And I think for that reason, along with the positive atmosphere in this house. made it possible for this thing to sort of creep up on them until it became very bad. These events are also super unique, and there are a couple moments in the story that I still can't stop thinking about.

Banquettes and stuff for fancy restaurants, hotels. sports stadiums, stuff like that. So anything that you see on the actual Upholstered articles, items, anything that is visible that's not upholstery. I do that part. So like You know, hardwood, laminate, all all sorts of things that are underneath or around. The Upholstery.
Like the the wooden armrest on a movie theater seat?
Yeah, exactly. Or like the back of a big long bench or the under the plinth of the Whatever it might be.

Exactly. Exactly. The underside stuff.
You must you must hate that.
Well I just started working there recently so I haven't gotten any gum yet. I grew up in Cincinnati. I went to Walnut Hills High School. I met Chelsea at Walnut Hills High School. Uh You know, we kinda We were in the same friend group. Бо і во невери дати гай ску. And so I got to know her like, you know, partying and hanging out around town, different areas. And then One time uh I went to the Red River Gorge, which is a little geological area in Kentucky, which is really cool. And she was on the same trip and it was like a big friend group. And that's uh we we got together on that trip. And I still lived in Kentucky during that time. And we started dating, so I would go back and forth between Cincinnati and Kentucky, and she was living in a house in Northside.
And that's the house that I would always go visit her. And After I moved back to Cincinnati I didn't know where what I was gonna do, but since I was dating Chelsea, she said, Well, should we just do you wanna move in here? So I moved into this house that she was living in. And during this time, you know, we were all college age, early college age. Tons of people always around. It was like an art house. It was like musicians always there, people coming and going, people quote unquote subletting rooms, you know, for months at a time. So it was like a a big party all the time. And that's when that's what I moved into when I finally did move back to Cincinnati.
