And what's worth mentioning, because it's very important information, is that Adrian Newey has come out and said the part of that car that failed is not a new thing so it's on the it's on the dustbin spec Aston Martin yeah it's on dustbin spec Aston Martin that failed and Lance obviously had a big big off um whether it was good fortune or a good save, kept out the wall and went back to the pits and completely missed FP2 as well. So not the greatest start for Aston Martin, but positive signs that they're not last by a mile, I guess.
Well, yeah, but also not the most positive, at least after FP2. Of course, we practiced one, Alonso was 13th. We fast forward to FP2 where we get slightly faster running and Alonso's down in 19th place, three seconds off the fastest time. So they have not been, as of right now, the upgrades to FP2.
