I did something that I feel so privileged in getting to tell you about, which is I got an invitation from a friend. This was last week. Hey, do you want to see The Odyssey? There's a screening in Lincoln Square, 70 millimeter.
Oh, yeah, okay. This is probably where I wound up.
So I went to a fancy screening and saw it on the biggest possible and also... preferred size screen. The only true IMAX in New York City is what I got to see this on in row E. Okay. And I...
been thinking about it ever since which is why i texted you wesley morris and i was like have you seen this yet and so where did you see it uh i saw it at the same theater because you know there aren't very many places depending on where you live on earth you know this movie was shot entirely in imax that's part of its uh claim to fame feels a little strong it's lower it's one one of the selling points here is that you have to see it in imax So it was shot in IMAX, whole thing, unlike, you know, what you normally get, which is like a climactic scene in IMAX, and the rest goes back to its pitiful regular movie aspect ratio. Right. In which, you know, in the old days, when I was a kid... Because I'm older than you are.
