good. All right, so I am really excited about our guest today. I have actually read one of his books and would like to read the other, and so it's in my queue of things. I always have a huge queue of books, right? His name is Mark Anthony and he is known as the psychic lawyer. He's actually an Oxford educated trial attorney who is licensed to practice law in Florida and Washington DC before the US Supreme Court. And he regularly appears on TV as a legal analyst, a psychic medium and an expert on the paranormal after death communication and near death experiences. That is quite the range of things that you do. Mark, welcome to the show.

So the first thing I have to ask you is the psychic and the lawyer part, because I know that in my professional life until I went just full on woo woo chick,
it
was hard to mesh those two things. Um, so how does that go over for you to mesh those two things?
Well, the, um, I'm focusing entirely on my work now as a medium, author, and public speaker, although I appear on TV and radio as a legal analyst in a lot of high-profile cases. But when I was practicing law, you have to realize that both to be a credible medium and to be a credible attorney, you have to have evidence to back up your position. Certainly, attorneys need evidence to make their case. messages from the other side that contain verifiable facts as opposed to just, oh, your grandmother's here and she loves you. And people tend to think that all lawyers are heartless, vampiric beings that just suck the lifeblood out of everybody. And then people think that mediums are some type of demonic worshiper or perhaps that we're charlatans.
So in both professions, I've had to put up with a lot of grief from people who just really don't understand things. What people need to understand is that both mediums and lawyers help people through the most difficult times of their life. As an attorney, I've helped so many people who've lost loved ones due to the negligence of somebody else or in some cases due to murder. Also when people have been arrested or severely injured because I was a prosecutor, I was a criminal defense lawyer after that, and then a personal injury trial attorney. So I've tried over 300 jury trials. I've certainly done my time in the trenches of the legal system. And as a medium, my job is to facilitate communication between people here in this world and their loved ones on the other side.
Sure, makes sense. And I don't think lawyers are heartless. I've worked with a lot of attorneys. I worked as a guardian ad litem in the foster system. And so I recognize the good work that many, many attorneys
do. Thank you. Well, I'd say that most attorneys are decent people in any profession. It's like right now what's going on with the civil unrest and concerns about law enforcement, which yes, absolutely changes have to be made. But most police officers, the vast, vast majority are amazing people, men and women that put their lives on the line to protect and serve people every day. And some rotten apples have really spoiled the barrel. You know, when I was when I was six years old, I was walking in the river. Actually, it's a lagoon. It's I live on the barrier island, the east coast, central Florida. And I stepped on an oyster bed and it sliced my foot open and blood was gushing out. And my parents were scooping me up in this cop was driving by.
And I guess he saw what happened. He pulled over. He jumped out.
