All right, thanks, ma'am. All right. Today our guest is David Omen. He is the author of the new book, Ghosts of CeeLo Drive, The Afterlife of Sharon Tate and the Spirits of the Omen House. Also, besides that, I'm gonna get into his bio bio just a bit. Um, producer, creator, co-writer, a native of Los Angeles, California, and the son of a prominent real estate developer and builder. David Ollman was a private investigator for 12 years and studied paranormal research. Omen started helping his father build a house on CeeLo Drive. And the real life hauntings brought this story to life. David has produced a feature film, House at the End of the Drive, based on the Tape Murders. So we're going to talk about all things creepy and paranormal today, which is, you know, right up my alley, by the way.
So just want to welcome you, David, to the show. Thank you for having me. I appreciate it. Wonderful introduction as well, if I do say so. Well, thank you. And you did. So I appreciate it.

I'm a keeper. That's really nice to know. All right, cool. So all right. So let's let's just get let's just start talking turkey here right away. So I know a lot about Your home. I know a lot about this this whole thing here. Um I've watched lots of YouTube stuff. I've seen the movie um or the documentary. So what I found fascinating just from the beginning was the fact that as you're building the building for your your father and you, they're tearing down the other home. And it's like it's like everything shifted from that home and just opened up and moved over to you because you're like what, a hundred, two hundred feet from each other. Yeah, pretty much. Why do you think I mean, my my curiosity is like, why do you think they just didn't dissipate or go somewhere else?
Why do you think they just moved over to your, you know, your digs,
as we say? Well, to be honest with you, I think it's it's partially the fact that the um old house was being demolished and being rebuilt and that the new structure basically wasn't anything like the original property. It was a total Um Exaggeration, let's just say.
And
I think what it was is that the fact that I was here Back when I was a kid in high school, we used to come up here to the Tate you know, see the Tate House because we all read Helter Skelter, I have to admit. And um You know. You know, th this is this is literally less than a decade after the murders take took place. We were coming up here. And I remember the very, very, very first time we came up here, my friends were all starting to let's drink, let's start partying. And I was like I walked right up to the chain link fence, looked into the I guess into the property, but you couldn't see the house. You could only see the rock wall, the small rock wall that came out into the driveway that was famous from all the photos.
And I just sat there and I bowed my head and I said, you know, even though I'm about to get, you know, party with my friends and get, you know, you know, partake in enjoying myself.
