welcome to the mindful mystics podcast i'm cheryl knight wilson and i'm here with my co-host karen frazier our third co-host chucky g is out today we miss him greatly and he is extremely bummed that he cannot be here because we have some very special guests and he is a fan favorite of these guests And I would like to tell you about them. They are three paranormal investigators, Dalen Spratt, Joanne Mass, and Marcus Harvey. And you probably know them as the Ghost Brothers. Their travel channel show, Ghost Brothers Haunted House Guests, and other incarnations of the Ghost Brothers show, they follow the trio as they help families experiencing paranormal activity in their home. They also film Fright Club with Jack Osborne,
And they have several other projects in the works. Karen, what do you think about today's podcast?
Super excited because I know that this was a podcast we put together very quickly because you were telling me you've been trying to get an interview with these guys since 2016. 17? Is that what you said? 2018. Yeah, since 2018. And so I get yesterday an urgent message from Cheryl, they can record tomorrow morning at 815. Can you do it? And I had never Okay, so not a TV watcher, particularly. had never heard of the Ghost Brothers, had never watched an episode. So after work yesterday, I did a crash course in the Ghost Brothers. Oh my God, you guys, if you are anything like me and you have never heard of them, first of all, listen to the rest of this podcast because I suspect you're in for a real treat. And then go run, don't walk, to the Discovery Plus app and watch everything they have because they are so funny.
I mean, they're serious as well. They're serious paranormal investigators, so I don't want to say that they're not. They are serious. I don't want to give that impression. They are serious about what they do, but they do it with such humor that I have never really laughed watching any ghost shows, which is why I really haven't watched them for a long time is because I like stuff that makes me laugh. And oh, my God, I had like a few times tears running down my face, especially with their current show. That's a clip show called Fright Club.
Their chemistry is what really draws me to their various shows. It just draws you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I would just recommend everybody checking out the shows. And on that note, I would like to welcome to the show Dalen, Jawan, and Marcus. Thanks so much for joining us.

I have to tell you, I never so I don't watch a lot of TV. I don't watch a lot of ghost shows. But I when I do, I never laugh watching them. And I was laughing like I kind of tried to sample all of your various shows. And every single one of them made me laugh. So thank you for that.
No problem. We're here for it. I do enjoyed it.
All right, so tell me how you guys got started in all of this ghost stuff and TV stuff.
This is Daylon speaking. We've just been friends for literally almost 20 years. And yeah, back in the day, I was up late one night and one of the ghost hunting shows was on television and I didn't see any representation of myself on any of these shows. And I thought it was just an interesting idea to see Black people hunting ghosts. So yeah, I just ran the idea behind Juwan and Marcus and yeah, they were on board. So just what started as a simple idea led to us having, yeah, so far a seven year international journey. International. International.
You are international paranormal people. And I have to tell you, so the first one I watched was one of the original, the Ghost Brothers show. And I think the very first thing you said in your intro is why are there no black people or why is everyone white or something? I have to tell you, I have wondered that for years. Is there a reason other than just for representation?
