Hello everybody and welcome to a much delayed episode. Uh delayed so long I don't even remember the name of our show, of Mindful Mystics, is that right?

Oh, thank God. Okay. Welcome to an episode another episode of Mindful Mystics. We are much delayed. Let me just tell you what has happened. So the last we spoke to all of you lovely people, I was on my way to Mexico and we were all doing just fine. Jim and I went to Mexico. And um had a lovely time. It was beautiful. It was like uh upper seventies, lower eighties, so perfect weather, right? And um On the plane home, which by the way was a dreamliner. And we flew in first class. We had pods, you guys, pods. Like pot where you could yeah, where you could recline all the way back and you have like a desk and you have like a a screen and yeah, and there you can't see people like they have them sort of offset. So you're just in your own little space in a pod.
It was amazing. Okay, so
that sounds like lifestyles of the rich and famous. I'm I and jealous at the same time. I am
Spoiled. I don't know if I could ever fly on a normal plane again. I could tell you what, I'd never get on a Frontier Airlines flight after that. But anyway, so Jim and I got home and um we thought that Jim was suffering from allergies in Mexico because he gets really bad allergies uh with any new vegetation and Mexico is pretty jungly and so lots of vegetation, right? Um, so we just thought he had allergies. Well then when we got home, like I started to feel sick. As we were approaching CTAC, I started like, uh oh, I don't know if Jim has allergies. Well, I wound up it we it turned out that we both had gotten RSV while we were in Mexico. Some guys Some guy sneezed on Jim's head while we were waiting online for um
a shuttle to go to one of the parks in um i in Escara in the Riviera Maya. Oh no, actually it was when we were waiting to go to Tulum, which is this uh Mayan city, a walled Mayan city. Um ruins. Uh so anyway, so we think that the guy that sneezed on Jim's head probably got him sick. And then he in turn got me sick and it was RSV. Um, and we that was on Valentine's Day that we came home. Okay.
Yeah.
We were sick for eight weeks. And I mean, I'm talking deathly sick, coughing, coughing. I I I was worried I was gonna cough out body parts uh for eight weeks. Um, and you know, like the fever and all of that stuff resolved pretty quickly. But the coughing eight weeks. And so we couldn't do the show because I was coughing. Then Cheryl, what happened to you when you went to go meet Chuck?
Well boy. So we headed out to Lake Geneva for a fun filled vacation. And and this was about a month ago. And um on the way home we stopped by and saw Chuck E G in person.
Oh yeah,
now we just forget all three of us to the same place at the same time. Same place, same time. Chuck shoved us around a little bit. We had a nice lunch. It was great. Well, we thought all was fine and dandy. And we had been at a convention in Lake Geneva. So You know, we thought, okay, we we came back. You know, of course we're always worried about getting sick because of, you know, pandemics, right? Um, even though it's the pandemic's
over. And big huge crowds of people in right in small areas. They're like just super spreader events of whatever's
going
around.
Well, guess what happened? We arrived home after meeting with Chuck E. G and the next day we got extremely sick. It turned into COVID. We were told it turned then turned into bronchitis. I'm still not sure that's true, but we were coughing like Karen, coughing so hard. We literally were felt like we were on death's door. So four weeks later, I'm still slightly sick today, but feeling so much better and so much appreciative of good health. Um so glad the last four weeks were over.
So this is our excuse for why this is so much delayed. Is eight weeks for me and four weeks for Cheryl is, you know, twelve weeks. That's a couple months, y'all. So I'm just glad we didn't give it to Chucky G, because then I know Yeah.
