That's right, it's our 300 celebration man, so we're the guests, they're the hosts. So you need to stick around because this is gonna be really fun. Welcome, welcome to a very special episode of Paranormal Underground Radio in the Dark, the 300th show. That's a big deal. You may have noticed that I do not sound like any of the personalities you're used to hearing, and maybe you're slightly confused, but don't be. My name is Patrick Keller and And I've been asked to host on this awesome occasion, and my special guests tonight are a group of people you know pretty well. I'm talking about your usual hosts, Karen Frazier and Chuck Godsky, but we'll also be talking to two people who are most often behind the scenes, but put a lot of work into and energy into making the show great and bringing it to you every night. And that's Cheryl Knight Wilson, producer, and Chad Wilson, co-producer.
Tonight is going to be lots of fun. We're going to be taking lots of questions that were submitted by listeners and maybe even a few from the chat room, which by the way is full of. Also tonight we'll be probably talking to our guests about their favorite paranormal TV shows, their favorite books, and of course awesome memories from many years of paranormal underground radio in the dark. from several of the guest interviews over the years. And then in the last hour, you're going to hear a brand new pre-recorded interview with Chuck talking to the Guy Lion Playfair of the Society for Psychical Research out of London. mister Playfair was one of the main investigators of the Enfield Poltergeist case, and the reason you know what you know about the story that is told in the Conjuring two film is.
I do also want to mention this evening that Nicole Strickland was supposed to be my special co-host, but had a last minute emergency conflict, and so we'll miss having her here, and we hope all is well. So as I bring our guests in tonight, I have to feel bad for the listener who can't see how dressed up everyone is. Everyone looks so lovely for for this special occasion and I've been listening to everyone plan their outfits all afternoon. We've got wizard hats, tiaras and wands. Chuck has sleeves, which is apparently a big deal, and I'm wearing a bow tie. Oh and some of us have festive beverages. So uh alright, here we go. Let's do this. So, um, have you guys I I mean, I planned on just having each of you kinda make an opening statement here about, um, you know uh
what this moment feels like to you and and how you're feeling tonight. I mean three hundred Is a big deal. It is a big deal. So why don't we do a quick round robin and like let's start with let's start with Karen. And I mean What's h what are you feeling tonight? Three hundred, man.
So when when Cheryl and I initially talked about doing a show back in was it two thousand nine, Cheryl? It was. I think is that what we yeah, in two thousand nine it was the our first show was in February of two thousand nine and it was a podcast. And um it we had maybe one, maybe two a month. And I thought, Oh my gosh, this is just you know, we'll do it for a couple of months and it'll be great. And here we are, seven years and three hundred shows later. And um I can't believe we've done it. Uh we have had some of the most fabulous guests in the last seven years. I listed them all on the Paranormal Underground um Facebook page the other day. And I was reminded about how amazing the guests we are. We've I've had I've had the gift of working with tremendous co-hosts, including guest co-hosts like you, Patrick, and of course Chuck and Rick Hale.
