Well it did you fit that in over a weekend or something? I mean one minute you lived in your other house and the next minute Jamie's posting pictures from the farmhouse.
Yeah, I know. It was like you know, actually we have been look yeah, just really didn't talk about it too much. We we we've actually been looking for a place for a few months. And uh Jamie found this one and it's actually it is the house is on the property of a working farm. Just that the farmer doesn't live here anymore because now the farmer makes way too much money so he can live elsewhere. So we are living in the farmer's home.
Well, very cool. And you moved the chickens?
We moved the chickens, yes. We do believe that they were a little bit traumatized by it, but um They seem to be coming out of it.
Well, very good. All very exciting. Congratulations on your new home. And I all all I can tell you is that judging from your wife's posts on Facebook, she is blissfully happy there, so
She really is. You know, I mean, I'm a city boy. I've always been a city boy. I grew up a city boy. Um, I'm actually starting to get used to this.
Cool. Well, you know, I'm feeling kinda badly because Cheryl's in a new house.

And you're in a new house. And I'm in the same old house that I've lived in for eleven years with the light switches that I still can't figure out.
You have a beautiful house. I mean, I've seen pictures I just just like those big bay windows that you have right there. Like it's like they are amazing to say the least.
We had a lightning storm earlier and it was pretty cool watching. I that's what I like is um because you can see the lightning storm all the way across the ba the valley when we have them and they are pretty cool.
Yeah. Yeah, you know, when I was a kid we one of the apartments that we lived in in the city It looked out right over we lived in um I think it was like the it was like the Humboldt Park neighborhood. It's now like it it's it's it's it's a huge it's a very big Puerto Rican neighborhood. And um we lived in an apartment and it looked out over the city. And at night when you when thunderstorms would come rolling in, you could watch as like lightning would hit either the sears or the handcuff.
And there is no thunderstorm like a Chicago thunderstorm.
Oh no, no, no, no. Yeah. The way they come off and off the lake and you got the big so tall it's like the lightning, it's just I miss living in the city. I really Oh
yeah, the best thunderstorm I ever, ever, ever was in was when I was in Chicago and I was just like, Oh my god, this is so cool. I probably looked like a rube.
Yep, it's a it's a it's it's a pretty city. It's a pretty city. I love it.
Cool. Well, so um I have a piece in a book that's coming out next week. It's the uh it comes out on the twenty eighth. It's Chicken Soup for the Soul because aren't I a chicken I'm a warm fuzzy chicken soup for the soul kind of person.
