We're still waiting to see if Shador Sanders or Deshaun Watson is the starting quarterback in Cleveland, but Kyler Murray has won the job, and now we've talked about it. We actually are going to talk about it because we taped with John Gruden on Monday night before this happened, but you have to trade him, right?
I guess so, but I don't know what you're going to get. We mentioned it with Florio the other night. There might be something in the Vikings' head that's like, we use such a high draft pick on them, and I guess it's the sunk cost fallacy, right? You've got to get rid of them. If somebody's like, fifth round pick, you're like, but I spent a first rounder on them. I don't really feel like... It's like if you spend $30,000 on a car and you drive it off, it breaks down and somebody's like, can I pay you $10,000 for the car? Yeah. It's worthless to you at the time, but it's like... No, it's like I just paid $30,000 for it. Maybe just make me an offer that doesn't feel insulting. But it would be probably a smart thing to let go because I don't think it's going to be productive for either side of that.
Now, Kevin O'Connell has been a guy that said repeatedly – that young quarterbacks don't fail teams, teams fail young quarterbacks. And I don't know if you could count this as a team failing a young quarterback, but McCarthy was injured his first year.
