Chapter 2: Why did Dave Portnoy have a meltdown?
Dave Portnoy is a satirist, a pundit, but he has a third rail. And third rail for him, and it's very emotional for him, is these issues of not just Jewish jokes, but this assault. I mean, F the Jews outside of that pizza place. He's just doing his stand-up thing for pizza, and this guy comes by. I mean, that's bad. Now, for comedy, we have freedom of speech. Mm-hmm.

And so we also have a consensus among comedians and I've seen it discussed that says, hey, look. If you go too far here, here or here, you know, part of the audience, since that's tasteless, you may be on the edge there.
And what they're saying is, I got freedom of speech to be whatever comedy I want. But if you want to go here, here or here, you might be careful and you might better be depending what your identity is and where you're coming from and what you're perceived.
