Description

(00:00-26:25) – The Fan Midday Show opens on a Wednesday with Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook sharing their thoughts on how Gardner Minshew handled the quarterback announcement yesterday in his press conference, accessing how important Minshew will be to Richardson’s development, and dissect what Chris Ballard said yesterday on SiriusXM regarding Jonathan Taylor. (26:25-38:11) – Earlier in the day on ESPN Radio, Chris Carlin joined the Brian Noe boat by disagreeing that the Colts should not starting Anthony Richardson because he’s not ready yet. Also, Brian says that going against the popular opinion is such a hard thing to do simply because of the way people get viewed for doing it. (38:11-46:38) – Brian and Jimmy close out the hour debating how Jonathan Taylor feels right now because he’s requested a trade, but the team will not trade him. Additionally, the Colts franchise won’t negotiate a contract with him either. (46:38-1:10:58) – The Athletic’s James Boyd joins the Fan Midday Show with Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook to share his experience of listening to Shane Steichen announce Anthony Richardson as the starting quarterback, identifies something that he wants to see Richardson do in either preseason game remaining that he didn’t like in the first game, and how important it is to get Jonathan Taylor back when you take a step back to examine the current options the Colts have. (1:10:58-1:25:22) – NFL Network Analyst and IU Football Radio Analyst, Rhett Lewis, joins Brian and Jimmy on the Fan Midday Show to share his perspective on Shane Steichen announcing Anthony Richardson as the starter yesterday, what his philosophy on starting or sitting a rookie quarterback is, how he feels on the Jonathan Taylor situation, and explains why he is all in on the Big Ten after the conference realignment. (1:25:22-1:32:01) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Brian and Jimmy discussing the pace that the offense played with while Anthony Richardson was quarterbacking the Colts. They debate if it’s something that they’ll do during the season if AR is starting. (1:32:01-2:00:23) – Andy Sweeney of the soon to be new morning show, The Wake Up Call with KB and Andy, on The Fan, joins Brian and Jimmy to play a little “get to know you”. Plus, he shares his perspective on Anthony Richardson starting week one for the Colts, and highlights what he liked most about his time in Louisville. Then Brian and Jimmy get into some comments made by Patrick Mahomes regarding Super Bowl rings. (2:00:23-2:11:26) – Throughout the day, Brian has been asking guests their favorite fruit and vegetable because James Boyd joined us earlier in the show from the grocery store. Jimmy and Brian share their favorites, plus Brian defends his honor after receiving a text that labeled him as someone that only likes one genre of music. Additionally, they predict how many Super Bowls Anthony Richardson will win with producer Eddie Garrison included in the debate. (2:11:26-2:14:56) – Today’s show ends with Brian asking Jimmy for his JCook Plays of the Day and Eddie for his MLB picks! Plus, Brian shares some famous birthdays and deaths on today.Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
