Then they transition into the grass vs. field turf debate going on in the NFL right now. Will Lucas Oil figure out how to get grass in the stadium? Then, the discussion shifts to Colorado State football coach Jay Norvell’s comments about Deion Sanders and Colorado ahead of their matchup on Saturday. (25:52-39:53) – As Jake teased in the first segment, he has figured out the Deion Sanders career path. Jake explains who Coach Prime’s next coaching contract will be with. Is Colorado a legitimate destination? (39:54-43:24) – Jake wraps up the first hour talking about loyalty across the sports landscape. (43:25-1:03:32) – Jake and Jimmy open hour two of Query and Company talking about young quarterbacks. How will CJ Stroud look? How does he compare to Justin Fields, Trevor Lawrence? Next, a conversation about what the defense can do against the Texans this week. They talk about what Josh Downs can bring to the table for Anthony Richardson this season. Matt then talks about Will Anderson and the front seven for DeMeco Ryans. (1:44:35-2:02:36) – Query and Company takes a Thursday Road Trip with the radio play-by-play voice of the Houston Texans, Marc Vandermeer. They start with a conversation about CJ Stroud.
