Radio Check Podcast is back yet again. And uh I got in front of me, of course, my my brother Chris and our wonderful guest today. But you know, Chris, I n there's not gonna be much small talk today because I just saw you yesterday, strangely enough. Um, you know, this this has been a good year for me and you as far as getting together. So it's uh we've uh yeah, it's nice to have you uh not traveling so much these days and having these opportunities to be able to actually hang out with you that in a non backstage uh scenario. So how was your uh uh your travels home yesterday? Oh good, good. You and I went to Florida for our mother's ninetieth birthday. Yes. Which probably says a lot about how old we are.
So so yeah, that was that was good. It was good seeing you, you know, and it was good to get together with the family. Yeah, likewise. Yeah. It was it was always good. But, you know, as sublings we don't all get under the same roof that often. So but yeah, it was a good thing. But um all that being said, uh, you know, this is also, you know, since you're kind of not home, I mean you're not traveling as much, this gives us opportunities to kind of do some more of these podcasts and which is always great. And I I mean, you know, you and I when we're kind of off camera, off mic, you know, we talk about the the life that is Radio Check and this podcast and what we're doing and trying to do. And you know, I and I guess I'm saying this from the perspective that people that are listening
You know, we're trying to really document and capture stories and you know, um, really just kind of like the history of behind the scenes of rock and roll and touring and all that stuff. And, you know, we really want to make the continue to make this special and meaningful. So um I will say that if anybody has any, you know, uh feedback on on the quality or how this this podcast unfolds and, you know, how we can make it better, 'cause we are trying to uh document and um immortalize the individuals that make you know, make live, you know, shows happen. Um, and so, you know, please, any feedback, certainly the like, subscribe, you know, all the stuff uh that keeps this podcast going. Uh we certainly uh love what we do.
It's a labor of love. And um for me it's just honoring and cherishing, you know, the stories of the guests that we have on here. And so all that being said. I'm I'm very well, my friend. It's bit it's been way too long um uh since we've spoken last and uh that's what's another great thing about this podcast. It gets it it it it it gets me back together with some old friends to to catch up and chat, you know.
Part of my time I live in Maryland, in Annapolis.
Oh, oh Maryland, not Delaware. I
split my time between Annapolis, London and um The summers I tried to spend my summers in Italy.

Fairly glam, but I'm not sure.
I've seen pictures of that house. It's beautiful. But you know what, you know, you you and I have have similar stories, you know, of going way back to the you know, the eighties and And started off as back line guys and and and you know developed into stage managers and into production managers and and and kind of, you know, just took it from there. But, you know You thirty years on the road at least, you know, um, you know, after a production manager you became, you know, an an an event producer. Um, you've done some of the biggest events that we s have seen, you know, you did the wall in Berlin, you did the Freddie Mercury uh tribute for AIDS awareness in London. Uh and then, you know, after that you you changed your tune and and and you moved to the UAE and started developing, you know, live ult entertainment.
in that region. And, you know, it's it's such an incredible story that you have, um, that um I really want to talk about and, you know, learn more about you.
