Robert is afraid that all of this is going to disappear. Even accounting for the aggressiveness within the offense, I still think the ball placement needs a significant amount of work. I just think it needs to be considerably better for them to reach their ceiling. And I think that hangs over this entire discussion, and it hangs over my entire tone in having this discussion, is that I see what's coming with this team this year on a bunch of different fronts. The regression is coming for the defense and the turnover margins. The offensive line health regression is probably coming. There are going to be areas for this team that they are not as lucky or as fortunate as they were a year ago. The only way to overcome that stuff and be really dangerous is if you are one of the truly the best couple offenses in the NFL.
And if that is going to happen, he needs to be a better player this year, like a notably better player this year than he was last year.

That's true. Robert now joins us here on the Pottawatomie Casino and Hotel Hotline, the Midwest's best casino. Robert, thanks so much for joining us. Walk us through the impetus for you guys saying, let's spend some time talking about Caleb specifically.
We do a series of shows every offseason where we call them the lingering question shows. And you cover in the NFL. There's just no way you can give proper oxygen to things in the back half of the season for a lot of different reasons. Sometimes it's just that teams are bad and you stop watching them. So on that same show, we had a discussion about. the Steelers' new defensive coordinator, Patrick Graham, like, did he do a good job in Vegas last year? Like, how should we feel about this? And so sometimes it's because teams, you just fell off your radar in the back half of the year. Sometimes it's because you were doing other things when that team season ended. So when the Bears season ended, we were lamenting the loss to the Rams, how good of a game that was, how exciting the back half of the year was, just how exciting the Ben Johnson experience was.
And I wanted to just spend some time being like, all right, we're in a spot now where you look at the Jeremy Fowler list from this week, other people have done these quarterback ranking exercises where they're saying Caleb Williams is one of the 10 best quarterbacks in the league. Well, let's dig into that a little bit. Like what was his season really last year beyond the excitement and everyone being so thrilled about the direction of the bears, like down to down nuts and bolts. What should we feel about Caleb Williams right now?
