It's nice to see you. Thanks for coming on Twitch. Yes, of course. I described last night's game as a mixed bag. There were reasons to be happy. There were reasons to be a little concerned. And then ultimately, I think even when you guys were trailing, before you tied it up, I felt like the Cubs were winning the game. But then unfortunately, the 10th inning kind of unraveled a bit. In the 9th inning, there were some good chances. How did you feel about it? It was almost like a movie and a game in a way.

Yeah, I mean, it was a great atmosphere last night, and I think we gave ourselves chances, and if we do that over and over, we're going to be fine. I think a lot of belief in this team right now, like being down two runs, and they have a good back end of the bullpen. You know, the three guys that they threw out there in the eighth and ninth, and 10th um all really good pitchers all had great years and so um for us to to put ourselves in a position there um dancy with the leadoff double in the ninth was was a great swing and um we had opportunities and that's what you can ask for you're not always going to cash them in and i think we've we've done that a lot this year at wrigley we've cashed them in and had some big um walk-off wins come from behind wins and so um kind of feels like we're always going to win those games

Ian, I've heard you talk about that. Like, you feel like there's a moment where you know you're going to win the game. I mean, be honest with us. I mean, didn't you believe that you're definitely going to win the game once Dansby gets that leadoff double in the ninth?

Yeah. Yeah. Once he was on second base, it felt like we had a real chance to win that. Conforto put a great swing on that ball and hit it deep to center, just missed it. Kind of a situation where they were obviously going to walk Pete, and then we had a couple cracks at it. But Kenley's a Hall of Famer. That's who he is. He's one of the best to ever do it. That cutter is still super unique. And it was actually in that Bregman at bat, it's like when you get to 3-0 in that situation, it actually puts you in a tougher spot because... your 3-0 with the bases uh loaded and it's like if he just throws one more ball here we win the game um and so you kind of you definitely eat the 3-0 and then that 3-1 pitch becomes very challenging of you want to make sure that you're in the zone um and with his cutter you you really got to be anticipating it to a spot if you try to be really precise to make sure it's a strike
