That was a fun one. That was a really fun one. I think... just all the way around combination of, you know, Cavi standing that start and only giving up three.
What were the standout moments from the Cubs' recent games?
And then, you know, bullpen did a good job. And honestly, say his Homer was huge, but we hit some balls hard right at people kind of the whole night. And to kind of stay in it, get bases loaded, not push run across in the eighth. And then Pete starts off with the triple. Great at bat by Nico just to get the ball to the outfield where Pete can score. And then obviously Conforto. What an unbelievable at bat he's been giving us off the bench just over and over. Great at bats. A wonderful teammate. And for him to come through in that spot. People don't understand how tough that pitch was.

Yeah, a little bit of a backwards one there for us. We didn't get it right, but that's okay. As part of baseball in the Midwest in April and May, you're going to have a couple of those.

I think that was our first rain delay of the year, first significant rain delay of the year. So if you get to May and you don't have five rain delays like that, you're happy. So yeah, sit around for a little bit and hang out with the guys, but yeah. Not the worst home we've ever had, and hopefully we're in the clear for the rest of the week.
You talked a little bit about Michael Conforto. This is a guy that obviously didn't have the best season last year, and people thought he might be cooked, but he's four for nine in pinch-hitting situations. As a team, you guys tied for the Major League League with 12 pinch hits, tied for the Major League League with now two home runs in pinch-hit situations, OPSing over 1,000. How difficult is what's happening in those clutch, off-the-bench situations for you guys as a team?
I mean, yeah, it's unbelievable. I mean, it's really, it's not easy to do that, to have that role to come off the bench in a spot like that, especially those leverage arms late in the game.
