Yeah, I actually had. It's probably 8 a.m. in the middle of California, Manteca, Stockton area. You get some valley fog in the morning on some travel ball games. A little different setting, though.
How old were you for those travel ball fog?
Probably 13, 13, 14, classic travel ball stuff.
Classic 8 a.m. ball games on the West Coast. That's not a great idea. So could you see the ball?
I only had one at bat where the fog was pretty intense and I only saw one pitch. So I think it wasn't the best offensively. The real challenge was going to be the pop-ups though, like in Ian's at bat where the ABS stopped working and the scoreboard wasn't picking up like velocity or what pitch was being thrown. You hit a pop-up foul and no fielder even moved and it was a little bit of a weird feeling. So I think that's when they knew it was time.
I got a weird question for you. On your way home from that game, did you notice crazy traffic? Like, do you take Lakeshore Drive or did you notice the city was bizarre after that game? Because you guys ended so late. It was after the fireworks. It was after the fireworks happened.
