Ladies and gentlemen, joining us now is a man who's got a massive brain.

He used to be a lawyer, then he decided to take his talents to the internet.
NBC Sports. I'm sorry I'm late. I was talking to Robert Kraft. That isn't the time for an airing of grievances. Pro Football Talk. I got a lot of problems with you people.
Now, you're going to hear about it. On Chicago Sports Radio, 104.3 The Score.
I want to keep talking Legos.

Missed fire. Come on, baby. Where are my fireworks? Where are my fireworks?
Oh, no. They're duds. We expect that to be fixed by the end of this segment. Is that fair, Mike?
Nope. It must be wet. I left them out in the rain. Sorry.
How does Cam Jordan's re-signing impact the Saints and Bears?
Hey, it is raining here, so we feel you on that. It is ominous and it is dark. How are you on your West Virginia baseball team, Mike?
Well, hey, I got my gear on today. They have won two games. We. We have won two games. You can we it. I live here. I like meatball, Mike. You can we it. I'm born and raised in West Virginia. I'm not some interloper from Pittsburgh. I'm a West Virginia guy. You're legit. And we have won two games in the College World Series. First trip ever to the College World Series. A good friend of my nephew's is one of the relief pitchers, Ben McDougal. He's had a great run during this whole tournament. So it's just a lot of fun to watch. But now... Got to beat Bill Belichick's Tar Heels twice in the best-of-three championship round.
I love that you footballed it, and that gets us right on target back in the NFL. And what moved us a little bit yesterday, if maybe not the rest of the NFL world, well, I bet other teams as well, and that is Cam Jordan. The edge rusher officially returning to the Saints on what is reported to be a one-year incentive-laden deal. Big deal around here to us because there still is that hope that maybe help is on the way for the Bears defense and edge rushers, which they did not draft. They have not signed anybody of note so far. So the question for me to you, Mike Florio, is what did you think of the Cam Jordan one-year deal? And are some of these other guys, like the Bosas and Jadavian Clowney and Von Miller, will they start to get closer to hooking up with teams?
And are you hearing the Bears being connected with anybody?
Yeah, I think once you get into the point of your career where you've got more than a decade in the NFL, if you're not going to get the kind of number that you're looking for, there's no reason to commit until after the offseason program has ended. There's no reason to rush into anything, and you just wait for the right offer at the right time, and you avoid the wear and tear of the offseason program. I mean, look, does it have value? Yes. You've been playing for 10 years plus. Does it really have value? I don't know. And with Cam Jordan, I always felt like he was going to go back to the Saints. He seems to be a guy who wants to be a one-helmet player and not go play for another team. And if you're the Bears, you've got to ask yourself,
How much does he really have left in the tank? How much of this deal is the Saints having some sentimentality for Cam Jordan? I don't have his numbers in front of me, but he hasn't been a dominant pass rusher in recent years. And I think if the Bears are looking to add veteran help, you want to have somebody that you think is going to have a little more punch. And I love Cam Jordan, but the point is, how much does he have left right now? How much better would he really make the Bears? If the Bears saw him as someone who would have made them definitely better, they would have offered more than whatever the Saints are paying.
Is there someone better out there with more punch, Mike? Who's got the best punch of the guys that are left out here as free agents that can help get to the quarterback?
