Rahimi, Harris & Grote Show
Packers have lost 4 straight games, but they remain plenty confident
08 Jan 2026
Chapter 1: What are the Packers' confidence levels despite their losing streak?
I have to be honest. I still do not feel good about the idea of Danny Parkins going to his first game since the double doink. This is Rahimi Harrison-Grody on 670 The Score, and I'm just going to let you sit with that and see how you feel about it, too. And Marshall Harris joining me today. Mark Rohde will join us from Hallis Hall with the latest there at 1225.
And in the meantime, as we do this dance for the third time, and this time is the most special now that it's the playoffs. I always like the concept of going behind enemy lines. You know, it sounds very SportsCenter. It's a segment we do in sports. You know, it's something we look in on. We check in on the other team.
I prefer behind the cheddar curtain. I'm just saying what you said earlier was perfect.
Why you got to bring cheese into this? No, that makes absolute sense. Oh, the foam party hat went away. The cheese grater foam party hat. It was sitting in our studio and now it's gone.
You know, people would just be taking things and acting like things just walk away on their own.
Absolutely. All of those things. I'm pretty sure that's why we have four mugs sitting over there as well. But behind me lines, cheese behind the cheddar curtain. I don't know, the bong recreation area, whatever you want to call it.
Bong recreation area?
Yeah, that's what you pass once you go up to Milwaukee.
Oh, we have it returned.

Chapter 2: How does the Packers' playoff readiness compare to the Bears'?
I thought we stopped the run. I think the third down, we were extremely efficient getting pressure on the quarterback. And I thought our guys did a good job. But to answer your question, that's not good enough, right? I said 59 minutes. I didn't say 60. We have to finish for 60 minutes. And that's what it's going to take to beat the Bears. And that's what it's going to take to win a playoff game.
So whatever we have to do, whatever adjustments we have to make throughout the game, we got to finish it. We got to start fast, but we need to finish. And clearly we didn't do a good enough job the last time we played them.
Unbothered. Does that even sound like a guy who wants his get back? He's like, no. The next logical conclusion is that my team is winning this game. That's how he sounded.
When you only give up 126 yards in the first half of a game, and you feel like even though your offense isn't doing much, but you held them scoreless, I get where Jeff Halfley is coming from.
71 in the game prior.
Exactly. So from his standpoint and from the Packers' point of view, they're like, yeah, we beat them straight up. Yeah, they made a comeback, but unlike all those other teams, the first game I'm saying, they weren't able to finish it off. Now in the second game, they needed a freaking onside kick to do it.
Well, I was going to continue my thought in saying this, is that you sound real confident and you can say it was 59 minutes and you lost in the first game. But you forget that it took an interception in the end zone in the one previous to hold on to the game before that. that the fourth quarter has more weight in this algorithm because the Bears make it have more weight.
The Bears do more in the fourth quarter. It's the opposite of the Bulls game last night.
Oh, man.

Chapter 3: How does Matt LaFleur maintain team morale during tough times?
You could feel it just in the room if you're David Hall or Ted Weider. But also in that locker room and the way they've been talking ever since. You want to make sure nothing is lost between Sunday and Saturday.
No, and meanwhile, we may have identified Bears enemy number one. It's usually public enemy number one, but I feel like that's coded in some way. So we're going to go with Bears enemy number one because that's more detailed. So it's a story arc that many people have followed on film. I think the referees let one thing slide, and he's talking real strong about More from the Green Bay Packers.
