I was the play-by-play guy. Stacy was the analyst. And all of a sudden, Derrick Rose dunked on Goran Dragic. And oh, my. Stacey went on about a 30 or 40 second rant, which you can find on the internet. Unbelievable. I was like speechless. And he ended that rant, though, with something that was appropriate for Stacey and appropriate for Bulls fans. As he reminded us all that Derrick Rose was from Chicago. And it couldn't have been a more appropriate ending to this rant he was on, which was hilarious and descriptive at the same time.

Neil did a wonderful job, as did all the speakers I mentioned. And it's one thing for us to hear the call, but it's another for Neil to describe it the way he did. And I never forget when Stacey said to us on the score, he said, Neil, let me be myself. And I thought that that was a wonderful story to tell in those moments.
Just understanding the impact, and I'm glad you got to attend the Celebration of Life, Layla, and I'm glad we're talking about it now because for so many people who didn't, it's a window into how those who knew him best, worked closest with him, felt about Stacey King. And I think it's important that we do celebrate people. And one of the things I'm proud of is that I feel like the city of Chicago celebrated Stacey King in real time.
