Last night's game, I came away from it thinking, where is a better place to be in the baseball world right now than Chicago last night? That was absolutely a great game to watch. Somebody had to lose. Somebody had to win. But just some tremendous, I think, theater, drama. Closest thing I'm going to see to the playoffs before the playoffs. What were your takeaways from just the continuation of Crosstown?
Yeah, you want playoff baseball in August, you got it last night.

Back and forth, both teams coming up with big hits after big hit after big hit. You know, the Benintendi homer, the Randall Gritchick homer earlier in the game, Cubs coming back and say, yeah, we got some too. And then Pete Crowe Armstrong, leadoff homer, capping it off with a walk-off for 30-30. Like... That's real baseball theater. And I think for two teams that have playoff expectations, you want to play games like that. I even think for the Chicago White Sox, and I'm working on a story about it right now, when you... are a team where they are, and you're learning how to win on the fly, and now your season has gone to, okay, we're the target now, and people are trying to come after us in this next final six weeks of the season, you're going to have to go through some games like this where, hey, we have to play other teams that have the same expectations that we do, and yeah, you're going to have some of those.
But I also think, you know, they had a big series in Detroit over the weekend where... detroit's hot they're playing at home and if the socks get swept in that series they're the second place team in the al central and they went up there and played great baseball swept the tigers and are in a good spot right now but i think this is great for the city like it's so exciting to watch a game like that where i think both fan bases is like yeah man like this city in october both teams in town and the bears bears Yeah.
