A nice day because I enjoyed watching the World Baseball Classic yet again last night. It was Venezuela winning again in a very exciting game over Italy by a final of 4-2. So there was not going to be the rematch. of USA facing the team that beat them to have peril in their advancement out of the bracket and out of the group play. So instead, it is Venezuela facing USA tonight in the World Baseball Classic Final. You were worried about Italy, weren't you? Of course. You were worried about just the notion of Italy making it. And at that point... Italy had a good team. There's no doubt about that. They did. They had a better team when Kyle Till was on it, though. I'll say that. Well, yes. You know what? And Japan had a better team when, say, Suzuki wasn't injured, even though it was during the game where they got eliminated.
Yeah, the injuries are a concern. But in the meantime, there's also been some incredible performances. And that includes, once again, us seeing in a very high leverage situation and doing well, Daniel Palencia showing out yet again. Daniel Palencia gets the save.
