I'm glad to have you back, especially on a night where we have a lot of Becky Lynch conversations conversation to be had but before we get into the Becky Lynch of it all I really felt like tonight's raw coming off of SummerSlam you know we were in uh uh uh uh Minneapolis yes Minnesota I almost said Milwaukee for some reason many maybe it's because western cities it's probably because I've spent the entire day trying to get home from Minneapolis Minneapolis
Minnesota. It's been a long one. It's been a long one. I went via Houston. But we're here now. We're back in the Not Sam Stanford studios. And coming off of a Monday Night Raw that I felt was very much... I don't want to say a hard reset, but almost felt like, and I feel like this might have been the case last year too coming off of SummerSlam, that after WrestleMania, you start to feel like a picture's being painted for where WWE as a whole is going next. And I felt the exact same way tonight coming off of SummerSlam.
It almost felt like a new season.

I mean, we always talk about the Raw after Mania. Oh, it's such a big deal. And it felt like a reset, a new season, a new chapter, if you will, tonight on Raw after SummerSlam.
Yeah, and it's interesting. And I think we're going to talk about this a lot with everything that happened on Raw tonight. But it was even brought up to Triple H at the press conference on one of the SummerSlam post shows where they were talking about the people that are in the main events. And Damian Priest brought it up to Cody Rhodes on SmackDown. And I feel like that came up more than once in different contexts tonight on Raw. I think that so much of what is motivating stories right now is the idea that there are is a hunt for mobility when it comes to the pecking order of this roster. And I think you have a deeper roster than you've ever had. I think you have a top-heavier roster than you've ever had.
And I don't know if you've ever had kind of so many different generations of talent all kind of vying at the same time. To be on top of the show.
Yeah, and it feels like people are ready for that moment all at the same time as well.
Because different is refreshing.

Yeah, but at the same time, is anybody going to sit there and say, whether it's Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins or CM Punk or Cody Rhodes or Brock Lesnar or whoever it is, is anybody going to say, I'm not... Going to watch those people in main events?
