Seth had his ducks in a row. Seth seems to always have his ducks in a row. Right now, Seth joins Penta, LA Knight, and Solo Sokoa in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Could be Jacob Fatu in there. Who knows who else is going to join these guys? But...

If I had to put money on this right now, what is more compelling in terms of watching television than the idea of now Seth Rollins stands there with Paul Heyman, with Brom Breaker, with Bronson Reed, and he's holding the Money in the Bank briefcase?

I think he can. I think so, too. I think he can. And I mean, imagine that where Seth is like, I don't have to do anything. I don't have to wrestle. I don't have to threaten anybody. All I have to do is wait, wait and figure out when the next heist of the century is because I'm the one that's going to cash in.

It's just Monday. But 10 years ago, if you had said that those three, by different names, were gonna be main eventing Monday Night Raw in a triple threat, that was like the greatest- I mean, it was the best three wrestlers in the world. And we just get to see them. Now, what I love is not only when those three names are put in the ring, do we get this triple threat.

And I've got a lot to say about Jay Uso.

Which is the Monday after Money in the Bank, which Jey Uso already has his dance card filled in for that show. So it's crowded. Absolutely. And I mean, and that's fine. It doesn't matter anymore. Because Seth has said that he wants what's next. After Gunther and Jey, he wants what's next. If he can get that briefcase, nothing matters anymore.

I think Seth's going to get the briefcase. I think he's going to get the briefcase. That's after seeing, and I don't know, maybe my thought will change after seeing who else is in there. You know, I mean, the fact that we're getting Penta now in a ladder match in WWE is something spectacular. You know, I think LA Knight's going to be that favorite.

LA Knight fits that mold of the person where it's like fans just love this guy. But what's his path to the main event?

Low-key, maybe smartest guy on the roster. Yes. How does he keep himself on top? I don't know. This ain't SmackDown recap.

Yes, he is. He's always got another trick up his sleeve, so I don't know. It's going to be great, but a spectacular way to end Monday Night Raw. Jey Uso was a big part of it. I want to talk about Jey Uso. The Judgment Day was a big part of it. I want to talk about the Judgment Day. But what I would love to do is get to the arena floor... We're the machine. Now, Bert, I know, because I was listening, and I know that you had to convince Tom to finally go to an episode of Monday Night Raw. I think he might have been somewhat scared because of all the things that he said about wrestling fans in the past, but he decided to actually go. And then at the last minute, apparently... Why couldn't he hang with you in the arena?

But in the WWE, when you are a superstar on that level, You've got actions, and actions have consequences. You have stories. You have enemies. You have just all this stuff happening. And I feel like it all exploded at the end of Monday Night Raw, right?

Tom Logan Paul is more relatable than Tom Segura.

I saw that. I saw that when you guys were all like, by the way, here's how I know that Tom was having a good time. Because usually, you know, he likes to kind of set the pace and let's laugh at Bert, right? Bert's going to tell the crazy stories and we're going to laugh at Bert. But what happened? You chugged the beer. And Tom goes, I guess this is what we're doing. And Tom chugs the beer.

And I'm like, yes, Bert, this is because you figured it out. I mean, for somebody who lives your life as this, like, everything is a party, that is professional wrestling. And Tom was in your world, dude. Here's the deal.

Yeah, there was a lot of colliding.

Right, right. Going in where one you wouldn't think had anything to do with the other one, but nothing exists in a bubble.

Wow. And did he just start doing Ozempic, like, with the Netflix show? Or has he been doing Ozempic for a little bit?

Wow.

Yeah, no, I know you do.

And I've got to say, and I mentioned it to Megan while we were watching tonight, when you were sitting there with the war Raiders and your shirt popped right off, I have to tell you, dude, like, I know you were telling a story about wanting to get into the ring the last time you were at raw and WWE and, and triple H and everyone being like, no, like from a physical, we can't, it's too much of a liability is what they said.

Everything's interweaving. Everything exists. Everything counts. Now, of course, we're coming off of Saturday night's main event, right?

And dude, just you shouting shirtless. With the War Raiders, like, you were, I don't, you got to watch it back. You were so red that I was worried about you.

Coach Slam, ****. Yeah, I saw it later when video came out of you chokeslamming people.

You told me I was listening to it was a great recap that you did on two bears, one cave, which is the podcast that you do with Tom. And you kind of broke down your last trip to Monday Night Raw. And you were talking about the choke slams because I go like when I first saw it. As a fan, I'm like, well, if Burt was going to chokeslam people, why isn't he chokeslamming people on TV?

And the story that you told on that podcast, and tell me if it really is true, is that that was not approved, that you were not supposed to jump over the barricade, that you got nervous and started whipping your belt at them, and then just in the most Burt Kreischer fashion possible were just going with the flow and somehow ended up in the ring, even though they specifically told you you cannot get in the ring.

Did it?

Or maybe he's just busy.

By the way, you know, because you literally do arenas, you know, when you're talking to WWE personnel and you know, when you're talking to just arena staff, that's just saying a thing.

But it is at least something worth...

I mean, either he's going to watch this going, Megan, you caught something or, oh, no, I have to. Oh, no, Megan, you're making me feel self-conscious. So we're coming off of what I think is the biggest thing to happen to that group, which I think is a Seth Rollins faction, not a Paul Heyman faction.

And it really is also, again, it's Bert Kreischer lore that, of course, somebody goes, hey, can you do a full split? You're like, of course I can. Hey, can you run a marathon? Of course I can. Hey, can you chokeslam a wrestler? Yeah, yeah, of course I can.

That's right.

People like to hear it from guys like you who associate with people like Tom Segura who are not friends of this world. You see what I'm saying? The fact that you are as in as you are, I think, is why it's music to all of our ears. You're in our hearts.

It's those things like all you wanted to do when I was growing up as a wrestling fan, the biggest dream I could think of, and this is up until I was 15 years old, the biggest dream I could think of is Brett Hart giving me his sunglasses. It's all I wanted out of life. I bought a pair. I never got it.

But now, if I'm growing up now, if I was that kid now, all I would want to do is be the kid. Plus, what's great about this is To get Bret Hart sunglasses, you had to be sitting front row. I'm not green t-shirt guy, okay? I didn't know as a kid how you even got to sit in the front row. That was way out of my head.

Okay, well, this is what I noticed. Coming up with all these wonderful new ways to enter the ring. Mm-hmm. He's helping Sami Zayn in this triple threat match.

He's got this grudge, whatever it is, against the Seth Rollins, Braun Breaker, Bronson Reed faction. So he's dealing with the Seth Rollins faction. He's helping Sami Zayn. He's now in the main event of Money in the Bank, teaming with Cody Rhodes against Logan Paul and John Cena. And oh yeah, then Gunther waits for him on the Monday after Money in the Bank. Gunther interrupts his promo, right?

Do you think Jay's got too much on his plate?

You do? Yes, I do. Yes or yeet? Yeet. Okay. Okay. Well, listen. But everybody talks about how much weight on the shoulders a champion has to have. It's almost expected for a champion to carry this type of weight. Do you think that he is carrying the appropriate amount of weight? Or do you think that he has jumped into the deep end to try to prove himself and he's doing too much too soon?

Wow.

Here's what I'll say about Gunther, okay?

But you're the top guy. You're the guy who's representing wrestling. You're the guy who's looking out going, people are tired of seeing people like Logan Paul and John Cena try to control everything.

What about a guy like Gunter?

No, he's a selfish guy. And he made it clear.

Okay, all right. I'm glad you brought that up. Because Gunther came out and told Jey Uso, oh, this being a champion thing doesn't come naturally to you. As of today, this moment, put it down in history. I am done with the narrative that Jey Uso doesn't know how to be a champion. I'm done with the narrative that being a champion doesn't come easily to Jey Uso, doesn't come naturally to Jey Uso.

Jey Uso's not a real champion. Jey Uso defended the title against Seth Rollins. One. Jey Uso defended the title against Logan Paul. One. Jey Uso beat Gunther for the championship at WrestleMania, had a stadium full of people going nuts.

By the way, before this, Jey Uso took the tag team championship and made it so important in WWE that as the defending champion, he main evented at WrestleMania with the tag team championship. This is something that you could have brought up, like, right after Jey Uso won the Royal Rumble. Really? You think he's going to be the world champion? You think he's the world champion?

There's so many other people. You think Jey Uso? We're over it. We're done with it. What evidence, since Jey has won the championship, is there that Jey shouldn't be the champion? He had a great match with Seth Rollins.

He had a good match with Logan Paul on Saturday night's main event. He did. He stepped right up to John Cena. When he stepped up to John Cena, there was nothing in his eyes. There was no he doesn't belong. It was pure confidence.

And Gunther comes out and he goes, you don't understand being a champion. And Logan Paul, of all people, who's been wrestling for, you know, two Lunchables worth. Or Lunchleys. I'm sorry, Logan Paul. Tells Jey Uso, you're not a real champion. No more of it. How many times, how long do you have to be a champion?

How many times do you have to defend the title before people go, you are the champion and you are defining your reign the way you see fit? What on earth? And then they go like this. Well, if you're the champion, you shouldn't be helping Sami Zayn. Well, he hasn't lost it yet. Yet? So then why are we sitting there counting the days?

He beat the guy who had the belt. Which means that he... He won the Royal Rumble. Should still be.

If we're following the story the way we're meant to be following the story by Seth Rollins' words, this is about the future of the industry and who are the best people to be there to make the industry even bigger in the future than it is now. And Seth has said, I mean, he hasn't implied, he has straight up said, I'm the one who has to do this. If not me, then who?

No. A good guy needs to main event Money in the Bank to team with Cody Rhodes. If you're Jey Uso... You should be the type of champion that people buy tickets to see. And people are going to buy tickets to see Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso together. Why? Because they're so damn engaging. Okay? That's what a champion does.

I mean, the glory that is the Jey Uso-Cody Rhodes friendship and tag team. That's the press conference where Yeet was born, for all intents and purposes.

And Jay's. I don't think Jay becomes the champion.

But that's my point, is that without the entrance through the crowd, without Jay being involved over here and over there, without Jay doing so many things that are atypical of a champion, Jay doesn't build the momentum that is required to become the champion. Jay's not Gunther. Jay's not Logan Paul. And thank God for that.

This is what a champion does. What's in front of me today? What's in front of me today?

Right.

When does Tom Brady start thinking about the Super Bowl?

Right. We had Tyrese Halliburton, which we shouldn't be mentioning his name right now because there's a lot of Knicks fans that are mad at us about that.

But he said, yeah, the game's in there somewhere, but really? When we touch down in New York, when we walk into Madison Square Garden, that's when I'll be thinking about it.

You know why Gunther is thinking about his match with Jey Uso weeks in advance? Because Gunther's not the champion. Jey is. That's how champions act. Jey's got a lot on his plate.

Sami Zayn's. If he's the world champion... If Jey Uso is the world champion, then he should be representing his brand and his company. And if there is a problem within that brand, the raw brand, and that problem is Seth Rollins and Braun Breaker and Bronson Reed, then shouldn't Jey Uso be going, no, I'm the one representing this place.

I'm going to make sure that you guys don't run roughshod over everything. Because if you do, and I just step back and allow it to happen because I'm sitting here thinking about Gunther for three weeks. Then all of a sudden, even if I beat Gunther, I look around and I've just allowed these guys to take over the whole territory.

It's so great to be champion for a year. I don't know.

Randy Orton was his friend. Champions don't have friends. Champions don't have friends. It's lonely at the top. Who's Cody Rhodes teaming with at Money in the Bank?

Jey Uso's been Cody's friend the whole time. And Cody's been Jay's friend the whole time.

And he just made it just now. Yeah, and he's just getting used to this whole friendship thing. Yeah, yeah, I think so.

Bron Breaker has clearly sipped on that Kool-Aid and believes it. And it would appear that Brunson Reed has too. I read it as, I mean, it's a tale as old as time in wrestling. We just happen to be seeing it be played out in front of our eyes now on television.

Can you imagine if Raquel had been like, oh, no, it wasn't any of my business. You'd be like, what? We're literally tag team champions. We're best buds. You know what? You didn't think to tell me about the chicken tenders. You didn't think to tell me about... That's right. They weren't nuggets. Nuggets. They were improperly labeled. You're right.

You didn't think to tell me about the person who's stealing plays out of my playbook. You didn't think that was necessary.

Yeah, well, Liv was back. I think she left that movie set early. She's like when Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike would have to come back from his vacation early because Mad Dog was getting too comfortable hosting the show by himself. I think Liv Morgan left the movie set early to make sure that everything going on in that clubhouse was on the level.

Yeah, I don't think Dominic realized anything was wrong. He's like, cool.

Oh, Roxanne Perez. She seems cool. Oh, cool. Lives here. That's cool, too. I mean, but girls love the aloof guy. I don't know what it is. I'm not aloof at all. And guess what? Girls don't have the time of day for me. Okay. They love aloof fellas. And Dom's a little aloof at times.

You think Liv, if what's happening to Liv feels like it came out right out of Liv's playbook, do you think that Liv is justified in being upset, or do you think it's a matter of we reap what we sow in this life?

Okay, so. But Roxanne Perez comes out, interferes in the match that Liv is having with Kairi Sane. By the way, I don't know.

Wherever Liv Morgan was on this movie set, they must have shipped a ring to her because she has not missed a step in the last few weeks that she's been gone. But incredible match with Kairi Sane. It ends when Roxanne Perez interferes on Liv's behalf, and it is effective. But then the argument ensues with Raquel and Roxanne. Liv is distracted.

It gives Kairi Sane just enough time to avoid oblivion and win the match. Liv Morgan's obviously upset. This is her big comeback, and now she's lost, especially as she's campaigning to get a Money in the Bank qualifying match. But she blames Raquel.

that people like Braun Breaker and Bronson Reed, and who knows if there's going to be anybody next, looks at Seth and looks at Paul Heyman and goes, they're right. Seth is going to be the future of this thing. They're right. They are going to be in control of this thing. So you make a choice. You either fight City Hall or you go, you know what?

Right.

But if Raquel's not focused on the game, if Raquel's not focused on the plan, you know, here's the other thing. Raquel may not like Roxanne Perez around there. Because what if the same way Liv Morgan may not like Roxanne and Dom getting along, From a friendship perspective, maybe Raquel doesn't like the idea that what if Liv and Roxanne end up getting along?

Oh, you mean she's like... She's playing double defense when I just play offense. But why was Roxanne Perez upset about, and why was Raquel upset about Roxanne interfering if, I mean, it was for the betterment of life.

Well, that's not nice.

I don't. I think like to just be like, I don't trust you and I don't like you. And it's like, what have I done? If you can't tell me what I've done. You're talking to my best friend's man. She just doesn't like her. I don't like your vibe.

But what if you're trying to be like, you know what? Maybe I was out of line. Let me help you by interfering in your match. I didn't get yelled at for it. That doesn't seem nice.

You don't think Liv's anger towards Roxanne was legitimate? You think maybe it was more of a mental mind game?

For Roxanne?

Yeah.

Yeah, of course. Of course. She knows this game. She knows that Raquel has her back. It's her game. It's her game. So we'll see. Like we've said, actions have consequences. Always do. And she may be. I mean, that's one of those things. She may be looking around every corner going, when is this universe going to hit me in the face with a pie?

She's got them wangs out. And not the real ones. Metaphorically, though, the wangs are out for Lyra Valkyria. It's announced that we are getting... The rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. Becky Lynch versus Lyra Valkyria.

And Lyra starts by saying, I couldn't wait to see who was next in line with all the women that are on the roster and everybody who deserves a O. Becky Lynch gets another shot at the Intercontinental Championship. And Becky comes out. And she is still on this trip of like, I won the night.

No, that's what the match was for.

I mean, if I'm the Intercontinental Champion, I'll move into the hospital. If I get to be the Intercontinental Champion, sleep in your bed.

That's right.

Good. She stood tall. Not very shiny because there was no gold on her. Anywhere to be seen. Just like the last time she and Lyra were in the ring together in NXT.

You're still a champ. Are you kidding me? You don't think the hospital would be like, the intercontinental champ's in that room. Let's make sure that she's got the good room.

It's the best lobster there is. Yeah. Especially if you're the Intercontinental Champion. So we got a stipulation on this, though, that I found very, very interesting. Becky offered this up. And I think that Becky really is hoping to get it done this time and wants to add insult to injury.

Because Becky said that if she loses to Lyra Valkyria, she will never challenge Lyra for that championship again.

You know I love elements. I love elements of all kinds. You know what my favorite thing in school was? That periodic table. Full of elements.

That's right. But if she wins, then Lyra... must raise Becky's hand in victory.

I've been accused of... This is big of Becky. I've been accused of being a show before, but I've never seen anything like this. This is insane. To insult the Intercontinental Champion, call her, like, compared to a fan that gets to be in there with Becky Lynch.

Is. Maybe was. Maybe there was a time. But she's grown out of that and become her own individual. She's become a champion. The Intercontinental Champion. The Dominic Mysterio of the women's division. This is who Lyra Valkyria is. And maybe Becky is starting to become a bit of a fan of Lyra.

No, she didn't look like it tonight. But look, Becky said, when I win fair and square. You'll raise my hand at victory. I'm very worried that Becky Lynch has something very, very devious up that leather sleeve of hers. And she's going to make Lyra raise her arm under, I mean, obscene circumstances.

And Lyra showed what she's capable of when she beat Becky Lynch. Do you think Becky could live to regret this stipulation? I mean, do you think if Lyra beats Becky Lynch again at Money in the Bank, what is... How could you be a fluke three times? That's not how flukes work. Are you a maniac? It's not a fluke. It would be the third time it happened.

No, I don't know. No, I don't.

Okay, but if she didn't. If she didn't. That was three times now. I mean, I kind of feel like not only would Becky not be able to challenge Lyra for another Intercontinental Championship match, but what would Becky even do at that point?

It seems like CM Punk, if you're his friend, he treats you well. If you are not his friend, maybe less than generous. But he seems generous to his friends.

It was decisive. There was three counts on the mat and then a bell.

That's not a thing. There aren't awards for the night. What are you talking about? What do you mean? Nobody wins the night.

It's the match. That's the only contest is the match.

But what did I say?

No, there is no win the night. Everyone gets to share the night. It's everyone's night. Everyone's going to sleep. Everyone's waking up and it's everyone's morning. Nobody wins the night. I said specifically to start the show. If you remember all the way back then.

You think Jey Uso is focused on the wrong thing.

No, as a matter of fact, when we started the show, I said, don't let this CM Punk thing distract you. Seth Rollins won. He's going to Money in the Bank. Let's talk about Seth Rollins going to Money in the Bank because he won the match.

A lot of fans chant, we want tables for no reason. A lot of people say a lot of things. It doesn't make any sense. It doesn't make it right.

To answer your question. What question?

We should take the wings off before the match, I'm sure. Listen, we'll see. We'll see. We got another Raw before Money in the Bank. We'll probably have this exact same argument after that episode of Monday Night Raw. And quite frankly, I can't wait for it. I hope that you guys will be there for it.

but is the quintessential pro wrestling story. Everybody wants to go in there. Ultimately, what was Cody Rhodes' story? What was the story? The face of the industry. That's it. That's the story that he wanted to finish, right? Yes. Ultimately, it was make this about me. And sometimes that's good. And sometimes it feels a little scary. So Seth Rollins, right?

And even in the way it's phrased, when they go, well, the long-term plan is for Seth Rollins to be the champion, that feels like bad news you get from a boss. You know what I mean?

Right. Like, I don't know. That feels like for anybody that works a real job, a corporate job, that has to go see whoever their middle manager is at raise time. I don't know, I've just been working so hard and I feel like I've been giving more to the team than I've even asked for. Yeah, that's just, we really appreciate what you're doing, but we have a different long-term plan.

That guy? He whines. He whines about everything. Have you heard his cackle? No, no, no, no, no. We like his cackle. He's the long-term plan. But we appreciate you.

Bromble, is that one? Bromble. I think Bromble. Hydrogen is a good one.

You've got two choices. Either fight it and try to take that guy out, which some of the people on the roster are doing, or if you're a younger guy, like a Bronson Reed, if you're a younger guy, like a Braun Breaker, you go, no. I like... I think I'm going to, as another superstar on SmackDown might say, get in where I fit in. You got what I mean? So we get to this triple threat match, right?

We see it's Finn Balor, it's Sami Zayn, it's Seth Rollins. And as I'm watching this, right, I'm going, now usually the Money in the Bank ladder match is about, I don't even know if it's usually, but in my head, the Money in the Bank ladder match is about giving somebody an opportunity that either they You've been wanting to get that opportunity, but it's never quite gotten there.

Or somebody that you're like, oh, they weren't even in the world title picture. And now, boom, here we are. Penta is a great example, right? We all love Penta. He's only been here for five months. And boom, in one night.

He could be launched into the World Heavyweight Championship picture, into the WWE Championship picture.

Right, right? Yeah.

And as fans, you go like, okay, tell me how you think Liv Morgan gets there. I don't know. There's this person. There's that person. I don't know how Liv gets there.

Money in the Bank briefcase and boom. Now we're off to the races.

Right. And everything changes forever because now if it's done right, and it's not always done right, but if it's done right, you're in a different conversation. Except in this match, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor. You got three guys who, no matter what universe you are in, are world championship level people.

All three of them. If you told me any of those three people were going to be the world champion this calendar year, I would 100% believe you. People have been waiting since Finn Balor held that universal championship for one day. for Finn to have his next run on top. And we are, it's been, I mean, God knows how many years, and we are still waiting for that.

A-G. No, you know why? Starts with a G. What's the A for? I don't understand. I love storyline elements. I love the fact that the main event of Raw just had everything going on, right? I love... Here's what I really love. Consequences to people's actions. And I felt like when you get three elements... In the ring, like Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins.

We have been waiting this whole story, watching Sami Zayn rise almost to the top, to that penultimate level without ever getting to that ultimate level we've been waiting. Sami Zayn has expressed that as his goal to be a world champion.

Right. And as Seth Rollins has gone, lost the title and watched it go, whether it goes to Damian Priest, whether it goes to Gunther, whether it goes to Jey Uso, that's a title that he wants associated with himself. And honestly, it's been long enough that it's been off his waist. I kind of think more people associate that title with Gunther than they do Seth Rollins.

You know what I mean?

Now, so so now I'm watching this going like this is interesting because now you've got one of these people who when are they going to get their next shot at a world title? And you've got them all in there and absolute chaos erupts. Of course, we have faction associated human beings in that ring. Everybody in that ring has allies and a triple threat match by definition is no DQ.

So, you know, at first, I go, how could Sami Zayn not see this coming? When the Rollins goons, the Braun brothers, Bronson Reed and Braun Breaker... They were there the whole time. Yeah, when they pull Sami out, it's like... Yeah, of course that's going to happen. There's no disqualification in this match. How did Sami Zayn not see this? Oh, he did see this coming.

Here comes Jey Uso in to even this score.

That's right. Because just as quickly as this faction has been built around Seth, enemies to the faction have been built as well. So we've got now Sami and Jey and Bronson.

Wow.

Dirty Dom shows up. That's his brother. Allies. Brothers. That's right. And Dirty Dom, who has done this before. Look, if there's anything, and you can take this back to... Becky Lynch versus Liv Morgan. You can take it back as far as you want. Dom is an extremely skilled athlete. His chair aim is all over the map. Okay? There's no telling what's right. And that's true.

I mean, it's not like... You're a Major League Baseball fan, yes?

Who's your team?

I'm sorry. Shouldn't have even asked.

However. However. That one was a softball. However. Not everybody's a pitcher, right? Because not everybody can throw with that accuracy.

That's true. They don't even have one. They don't have one at all. That's right. That's right. But some of them can run real good. Some of them can hit real good. It's just you have different skills. Dom, he can't slide a chair to save his life. Go ahead.

You think pinpoint accuracy.

But here's the thing. When you're built like Dom in terms of the aesthetic, right?

Gorgeous. When you're a gorgeous dude who happens to be really good at professional wrestling.

That's what I'm saying. That's the workhorse title. Okay? Dom's the workhorse. maybe some of the academic stuff escapes you because you don't need to know it, right? Have you ever met somebody that's like this beautiful human being, aesthetically, and maybe they're not, you know, the most world- It's not all there.

You see what I'm saying? But they don't need it because they have other skill sets. Maybe they're super good at being good-looking and also have this, they're great at horseback riding, whatever it is. Dom, incredibly charismatic, good-looking guy. Great wrestler. Super good at pro wrestling. Not great at time zones. Not great at maybe not understanding the female psyche.

He's not the best at that. I think he would admit that. And one of the worst chair sliders that we've ever encountered in WWE history. And I've seen them all. I'm a historian.

You have this in any era, astronomical triple threat match, right? This is the stuff that, I mean, imagine those three wrestlers. If you had said 10 years ago would be main event, we just take it for granted now. That's how spoiled we are.

And so unfortunately, as Finn Balor is trying to get that chair... Stomp, boom. Seth Rollins wins. Now, you wouldn't realize it with Raw going off the air. Because even though we were told CM Punk wasn't in the building... Look at my eyes, what do you see? Here comes CM Punk's music playing.

The goons are ready to attack him in the entryway and boom, CM Punk jumps out of the crowd, lays out Seth Rollins and we end with CM Punk being triumphant. Now, I think this is a strong message, even though ultimately the lesson of the day is Seth Rollins is going to that Money in the Bank. Seth Rollins, who I believe in the history of the Money in the Bank briefcase is the greatest threat

that any sitting champion could possibly have when it comes to that briefcase. There is nobody that has utilized that briefcase in a more spectacular and effective way than Seth Rollins ever, ever, ever. He defines it. That said, he's got a demon on his back, okay? He's got CM Punk, who is now hell-bent, on making sure that Seth Rollins is not successful in his life.

Like something has snapped and CM Punk has gone to that other place. Will he be effective? I don't know. He didn't keep him out of the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Yeah, that's the feeling with John Cena. I mean, it is a wild thing. It is even more wilder. This is part two, this trilogy. of unpacking John Cena. I mean, there's still so many questions. This was not a dial where you slowly start to see John Cena come unhinged. This was a switch. For some reason, standing in the ring, he had already won the chamber. He didn't even switch inside the chamber.

He won the elimination chamber. And then, boom, the switch goes on. Travis Scott puncht Cody Rhodes und wir haben diesen John Cena vor uns.

In the ring, when he handed him the chair, I was like, oh my god, he's gonna do it, he's gonna hit Braun Breaker, and he should hit Braun Breaker, he should join the Judgment Day, and of course, of course, everybody was like, no, he's not. I was like, no, I think he is, and then no. My eight-year-old, no, he's not. No, I think he is.

Was that CM Punk playing mind games?

Was he telling the truth? But Punk said... Heyman was looking good too on SmackDown.

But Punk said, for me, this is what Punk said. He said, for me, it's not personal. It's just business. I in no way, shape or form believe that's true.

There is no part of this that feels busy. I mean, look into Punk's eyes when he was pointing at that WrestleMania sign on SmackDown. It was personal. I want to take you guys out at WrestleMania when he was on Raw tonight. And he was and you don't call somebody a piss baby for business. That's a personal thing.

WrestleMania 40, The Shield, where do you want to start?

I don't think CM Punk wants to share the wise man with Roman Reigns. No. I don't think CM Punk wants there to be a question about who the top guy is. That's what I think. I don't think CM Punk has ever done anything just business. I think CM Punk is good for business. I think CM Punk is good at business. I think CM Punk knows how to make himself and everybody around him a lot of money.

But one of the reasons that he's able to make so much money is because everything that he does is so personal. And I think that CM Punk has been on a warpath of mind games. Whether it's telling Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, hey Paul, thanks for serving me up, your tribal chief on a silver platter, mind games.

Whether it's saying he was my wise man before he was your wise man, mind games. And now where he's like, whoa. You guys care so much. For me, it's just business. I mean, what drives you more crazy than when you're in an argument with somebody and they go, geez, you're mad.

Just me saying that got you upset. I don't think that there... I think this is all strategic for punk. And it always is strategic for punk. I love punk. I'm the biggest CM Punk fan ever. I was having so much fun cheering for Roman Reigns as a good guy with the rest of the audience all together being like, yes, this is the final form. This is what we've been waiting for. And to your other point, and I'm sure you are more familiar with this than I am, but I can't tell you how many

wrestlers that I have spoken to, interviewed, just had conversations with that have stories of, in that big dog era, working with Roman Reigns at the live events and working with Roman Reigns every night and every single one of them go, yeah, that's what made me good because I worked with Roman every night and he brought out the best.

You're right. And you talk about, you know, you were talking earlier about the, you know, the status of the bloodline rebuilding. We saw something very interesting tonight. which was Jey Uso, coming out, finally starting to yeet again, which made me very, very happy. Coming out as the world heavyweight champion, which for a myriad of reasons makes me very, very happy.

But seeing Sami Zayn come out, first J addresses the crowd. Sami Zayn comes out who I mean, on screen, off screen just has this amazing history with Jey Uso and they embrace and Sami talks about how much Jey deserves and how much we all know Jey deserves is just this feel good moment. And I will say, I don't know if it's because of trauma I've been through in my life.

I don't know if it's because I'm dealing with all these betrayals in WWE from Cena to Heyman to I don't know when the next shoe is gonna drop. I was very, very fearful. That Sami Zayn was going to drop a Halouva kick? There was a moment there. There was a moment where he stood in the middle. Okay. And Zayn was up on the ropes. He's like. Right.

He's got it. Well, also, all of a sudden you see, like you said, the word landscape, Megan. You see this completely new vision of what Raw and what WWE looks like, where you've got these two superheroes now in CM Punk and Roman Reigns. When it comes to good guys, the biggest of the good guys versus what has become and didn't exist until tonight.

I also love that story that you just said that Jimmy said, if you think I'm good, wait till my brother Jay gets here. Cause we talked to Jay right when he got out of gorilla position for raw recap two days ago. And he said, by the way, y'all need to stop comparing. Cause Jimmy's even better than me.

And to know that, that, you know, that, that brother relationship is there where, where they're just kind of uplifting each other. But anyway, I didn't really, you know, you see Sammy come out, he embraces Jay, no sort of, ah, swerve, you thought it was, no, we're doing, these are, they're brothers.

Then his real brother comes out, Jimmy comes out, and there's no, ah, but they're together, and they're gonna turn out, it's just like, no, we're just happy that this dream came true, and not just for Jay, but for all of us, it's really happening. But when they left, right?

When they were at the entryway and Jay was standing there and Jimmy and Sammy were behind him, I was like, wow, this really is... See, this is the power of that bloodline story. This is what the evolution is. That Jay now has Jimmy and Sammy having his back. I don't feel like... When they left together, I did not feel like...

Okay, they just wanted to come out on Jay's first Raw as champion to congratulate him. It felt like these are the guys that are going to have Jay's back. This is what this looks like going forward.

I like where you're going. I like where you're going.

these two super villains in Seth Rollins and Braun Breaker with Paul Heyman. There is the part of me that is the more logical, clear thinking Sam, like maybe after a night's sleep, maybe something where I can look at it and go, Man, that triple threat main event from WrestleMania night one was a pure work of wrestling art.

And the idea that we could be looking at whether you call it Friends, a group, a faction, a version of that bloodline that is actually a fan favorite supportive group. That's kind of amazing. It's antithetical to what the bloodline was doing, but it is the result of what the bloodline did. And I did want to say, too, we saw Jay was rocking his heavy yeet. There's all kinds.

We got some on the walls here. There's the John Cena shirt. There's our Heavy Eat shirt, our EO Sky Women's Champion shirt. Those are all the WrestleMania winners merchandise is available on WWE shop. Fanatics put it out instantly. You know I love it. I've been telling you, Maggie. Of course. It's all about that one moment where that journey ended, where somebody won the championship and they do such a good job of grabbing you for that moment, making the shirt. They got the as I said, the EOS guy. And also they made still champion shirts. Tiff got a shirt that says still champion.

World champion. He is saying that he's here to ruin wrestling. And this is what drives me crazy because this is the stuff that ruins wrestling. When he goes, I have 27 appearances left. Not matches.

appearances and we're going you you sold us this bill of goods you went and you told us i'm gonna do it for real i'm gonna be here for a year and now he's counting down his appearances because he wants to leave with the championship after a main event that so many fans were going this is not what i wanted and john cena's going yeah that's exactly the point it's it's it's it's awful it is and you know who else uh sold us a false bill of goods who's that

And it continues on to something that is even more another work of art in the closing segment of Monday Night Raw, but the fan. the fan in me that you have to allow to come out, and Megan, you saw it. I was jumping all over the floor. I was out there on the floor watching this thing go down.

How do you whine?

Listen. I thought the amount of pyro was offensive for John Cena. I thought this guy didn't give us a WrestleMania entrance, nothing going on on the Tron, black and white, and then all of a sudden just scooping up all the pyro budget for himself. I'm surprised we got three cameras for this pod because of all the budget. Four, four. We must know somebody.

Because John Cena sucked up all the budget and all that ridiculous pyro that went off for him. He's not even wearing the championship front facing.

And you go, well, Seth Rollins can't take this kind of heat. Even he can take out CM Punk, but he can't now take out Roman Reigns as well. And both of them, both of them were there to put hands on Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman took a Superman punch tonight. Rightfully so, though.

He's trying to ruin our lives. And my kids' lives. And your kids. These kids are hungry. They're so hungry. They are so hungry. And they need food.

Eggs are ridiculous these days. And I thought they were going to get cheaper. They have not. But speaking of bills of goods, but regardless, regardless. When John Cena went out there and he said, there's nobody strong enough, fast enough. There's nobody with enough ruthless aggression. I went, please tell me, tell me. And they told me.

Randy Orton coming out and RKOing John Cena, myself included on the floor here in the T-Mobile arena going nuts. When John Cena just let the shh,

He was, he was trying, but there's not enough time. That RKO strikes fast. I'll bet it does. And he got him and left him laying again. The idea right now that Randy Orton versus John Cena in 2025 is as exciting as it is, to use a commonly used phrase, was not on my bingo card.

It is. It is. Yeah, Randy's at his biggest. And John Cena, I mean, still massive. Not at his biggest. He's a little bit more in Hollywood shape.

We got to see these bodies. That's what we're here for. But I will say this. Randy Orton picks up that championship, and we've all seen it. If you've been watching SmackDown, I mean, for months and months and months, you would watch the glances that Randy would give. Cody would have the championship, and Randy would be just glancing at the title. Randy would be fixated on it.

You'd think he's looking at Cody. He's looking at the belt. to see him finally have this moment where he's holding up that thing that he has been looking at for months and without saying a word, making that declaration known It's time for me to go ahead and take this.

I mean, can you imagine being Triple H? in gorilla position, watching Randy Orton do his thing and go, yeah, that's the kid that I picked for evolution that is now in 2025 going out there and still at this level getting this reaction. I mean, Randy is unbelievable.

Wow, we saw one of the fun things about the Raw after WrestleMania is always seeing who from NXT is gonna be around. And everybody from NXT is in town because NXT is gonna be in Vegas tomorrow.

but we saw Io Sky kind of come out, and something that we were talking about was this idea that that triple threat was about Io winning, so there was no question as to who was the best. Like, there was no more putting somebody in the back seat. Io is the champion. The best came at her, and she won. She is the champion. To see Stephanie Vaquer come out and be the one going, hey, respectfully...

I'd like to see if you're the best. I'd like to have this match.

Yeah.

Well, so I think, first of all, that reaction that Stephanie Vaquer got was not just to see her, but because we knew. It's the Raw after WrestleMania. Are we gonna get Stephanie and Io? Is this what we're gonna get? And we got it. It's this fantastic match. And then boom, you're right. Here comes Roxanne. Here comes Roxanne Perez. Here comes Julia. Here comes Julia on Monday Night Raw.

Julia is there. And you can already tell, right? There was so much hype around Julia. There were all the rumors. Even people that had never watched a Julia match were going, I keep hearing about this Julia. I keep hearing she's coming. Man, when she is on that big stage, you talk about undeniable. There's just like, boom, there's a star. There's a star right there.

That was so beautiful.

I mean, just that stare down between Julia and Rhea. You're just like, instantly, you're like, now? I don't want to wait. I don't want to wait. Give this to me now. And then, of course, we saw the respectful handoff of the championship from Rhea to Io, almost acknowledging this idea that, yes, you are the champion.

And, you know, all these debuts are going to be a part of the new debut patch program. Right. Have you heard about this? You know, WrestleMania. Yes, yes, WrestleMania. Everybody's wearing their WrestleMania patches. We were talking about it. We also found out tonight that everybody now making their main roster debuts, all superstars will wear a main roster debut patch.

All those patches, as soon as the match is done, the patch is going to get removed from the superstar and then inserted into a one-of-one trading card with the superstar later signing it. So we're not talking about cutting the patch up and everybody gets a little. One person is going to open a pack of Topps WWE cards, and one person is going to get that. Could be Stephanie Vaquerre.

Debut patch where you have the patch inside a card, and it's signed by the superstar as well. Sets including these debut patches are going to hit retail and hobby shops later this year, so you can stay tuned and follow at tops. for their official drop date. Very, very exciting times.

Yeah, we got some great ones. I'll tell you about it because I took them all home. As you should. I kept him. You're talking about feeding those kids. I'm feeding those kids. You talk about the speculation around who may show up at WrestleMania. You were getting a little dangerous. A little dangerous. A little dangerous. And all these pre-shows going, I don't know if you heard.

Well, they were more than whispering. They were chanting Rusev Day behind you. They were.

I know. Where's Big E's check? Little did I know what I unleashed. I had no idea. Yeah. They don't know where it came from either. Listen. I think that was right, of course. And it's got to make you feel good on some level that we're in this weird place right now, especially Raw after WrestleMania, where the bad guys are getting cheered. Sometimes good guys get booed.

Cody felt that a little bit at WrestleMania. Cheers were coming in for Seth Rollins just because, you know, stuff is happening and people end up cheering for it. John Cena was kind of getting cheered and booed as well tonight out there in the arena. The New Day, after what they did to you, still solid boos. Solid boos.

Megan Morant with us as always, and we are blessed to have in our presence Big E. Of all times to add the extra analysis on a Raw that requires more analysis than, I would say Megan, any Raw that's been on since we've started Raw Recap.

and they deserved them of course you had Otis and Tozawa coming out the New Day powdered real quick as soon as Rusev was in that ring they got out of there and for a moment you were like okay maybe Rusev is the newest member of the academy but no Is that what you thought? I thought. You did? I thought so. There's not one single. I thought maybe some dancing. No. No?

I thought him and Tozawa. No? No.

Okay. Well, maybe I read that wrong. I thought, you know. I mean, after all.

I thought maybe.

I don't know. I don't know. I thought maybe, maybe, maybe this is the newest. I mean, can you imagine if after all these years, he finally comes back and he starts doing silly stuff? People would be outraged. People would be absolutely outraged. But no, he made his intentions clear. It's a, you know, if New Day wants to run away, that's fine. I will attack. Whoever is in this ring with me.

And I am very happy to see Rusev back. I thought he accomplished a lot in his WWE run. A lot of it was early in his WWE run. A WrestleMania match with John Cena. I mean, that initial Rusev run He was a legend.

I'm just saying.

So who knows? Who knows? Wrestling's the best. It really is. Yeah, no, I'm not 100% sure that that will go right there right now, but maybe. Who's to say? Hey, you thought he was going to come out dancing and doing the worm. So everything is possible. That's right. No, you're 100%. You're 100% right. But I do think that a huge contingent of the fan base felt like

rusev had all this potential and never got the opportunity to reach it like he'd be on the precipice and right before he could get there breaks would be put on and that his time in the wwe was far shorter than it should have been so the fact that now rusev who has only grown in both size and skill is here in his best form i i think it's phenomenal i agree and by the way did you see his back

Yeah, it's like he leaned out but stayed the exact same size. Yeah, I don't know how. He got lean and then just packed on all this new muscle.

He's a specimen. He is an absolute specimen. But man, somebody else who I suppose is a specimen in another way is Gunther.

Gunther clearly did not take things well. He shows up on Raw after tapping out to Jey Uso, winning the World Heavyweight Championship. With Jey Uso winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Gunther lost it, screaming, I'm still the best, I'm still the best. Which, like, this level of cope and emotion... from Gunther is not something.

Gunther Cope is not something that we're used to seeing at all. He's so stoic. Very stoic. Usually. And he shows up and, you know, he gets in Michael Cole's face. And I tell you about this Michael Cole, one of the things that makes him a goat, he cannot help himself, can he?

But it's very Michael Cole.

I mean, anybody who knows Michael Cole knows a thousand percent. And you've been hearing it more and more on TV lately now that he's got a little freedom. He cannot help himself. And in front of Gunther, he didn't. Gunther was not in the mood. Shoves Pat McAfee. Starts choking out Michael Cole, of all people.

Pat, being the good guy that he is, he's a loyal guy, saves his friend, punches Gunther in the side of the head to get him off of Michael Cole. And then boom, here we are, this brawl. Gunther ends up choking Pat McAfee out. His entire show, the whole toxic table was there in the front row. They're jumping over the guardrails. Security is trying to stop them.

Nobody knows what's going on, but Pat is choked until he's unconscious. They finally get him off. They get him out of the building, and Michael Cole refuses to go home and goes out and calls the rest of the show alongside Joe Tess. I mean, listen, we've seen Pat McAfee get involved physically a little bit. You can go back to NXT or WrestleMania 38. Yep.

But realistically, he's retired from being an athlete.

Right.

But we still don't have a why. We still don't have a why. Why would Paul Heyman, who spent all this time, first of all, unless he just lied, which usually Paul Heyman has some kind of logic to get out of his lies, but unless he just straight up lied, because he said, I will always be loyal to the tribal chief. I will always be loyal to my best friend. And he uses those words so carefully.

Maybe a fruit basket. And you might handle it that way. I know I would. If I realized Gunther had a problem with me before he even got within six feet, whatever was in my pockets, I'd just hand him and run. Take it, it's for you.

Pat McAfee, and I know Pat pretty well. Pat's a proud guy.

And you can even see when he was going, hey, we don't have a problem. He was doing it with his chest out. You know the difference. You know the difference. So it was like, hey, we don't have a problem. When they're telling you with their body, we don't have a problem because you don't want this. Right? And that's what he was doing to Gunther.

You're talking about Pat McAfee, the same guy who when Michael Cole said, it's WrestleMania, you have to wear pants. He said, fine, then I quit. And guess what? And guess what he did? That's a true story. That's why they're laughing back there. And guess what he wore? Shorts. He didn't put the pants on, and he went through WrestleMania.

I mean, this is a guy who has done things his way and has been outrageously successful. I don't think that Pat likes the idea of being known as a – I mean, he's – as big a star in sports media as you can possibly get. He does not want people turning on Netflix and seeing him get choked unconscious without any repercussions. I think Pat's going to throw caution to the wind on this one.

And I mean, how do you sit there, right? Imagine if you were on commentary. You physically can't compete. If you had to sit there on commentary and call a New Day match, you'd be beside yourself. Yeah, I don't want to unbiasedly call this thing for these guys that did this to me.

Pat Scott, if he's going to go back to work, you think he's going to be able to just do color commentary over a Gunther match?

Those guys can chill. Those, yeah, those are the loyal subjects of the lord of the marks.

Like, like, I will, yeah, no, I don't know. I don't know if the toxic table needs to be jumping over barricades and going after Connors.

I know, but maybe he's got to take care of business himself. They can boo. Right, right. Yeah, exactly.

I mean, the thing that was sending off red flags on SmackDown, for instance, with Seth Rollins when he said, Paul Heyman brought the shield into WWE. And I said, you said CM Punk?

pissed off look i know who my who works for my radio show and if travis jumped over the barricade i go what are you doing what are you gonna help me here get back on the other side you're useless in this scenario yeah no and i don't want to lose subjects as the lord of the marks those are those people worship okay i don't want to i don't want i don't want to lose them um

Ring-a-la-la. Yeah, he's not going to have fun with it anymore.

No, no, no. Wow. Speaking of no fun to be had, literally, by the way, king of the seg on this episode, literally, what was it, 24 hours ago, you, Megan.

Yeah, because- It's hard for me. I know, well, you tease me with my Roman Reigns stuff, but you have your own emotional ties. Megan literally, you know what she did tonight? What's that? Right now, we're backstage at the T-Mobile Arena here in Las Vegas, but we were on the floor, and she leaned over to me and she said, if I could be any wrestler- Tell me when I'm lying.

If I could be any wrestler, I would be Lyra Valkyria. I said, why is that, Meg? Why would you be? And she said, because Becky loves her. And Becky just wants to put her on a pedestal. And I'm like, can you be liars?

mean Paul you mean there's history now with Paul Heyman brought the shield into WWE so everything is said I think for a reason and the fact that like there hasn't been we know that Paul Heyman has declared Seth Rollins as the new top star in the entire industry which as you know is who Paul Heyman likes to associate himself with at all times but

For a reason, Megan. And by the way, we interviewed Becky right after that match.

But you know what?

You know what? The Becky Lynch that you know is a person who doesn't want to lose championships.

I mean, that's what makes her the man. Becky Lynch ascended to this level in pro wrestling that she doesn't go out there with one day title reigns. She doesn't return after all the time that she's been gone with rumors bandying about, I know you like to read the internet, so you read them too. Hey. I know you do. I mean, yeah. Guilty as charged.

But you know they were saying Becky might not ever come back. Becky's doing improv comedy shows. Becky's doing this. Becky's doing that. She comes back. She wins the tag team championship at WrestleMania. She loses the tag team championship the night after WrestleMania.

And, I mean, Meg, you're not wrong in the sense that, like, she maybe should have a little more patience for the fact that if you're trying to bring somebody up with you, you have to give them the opportunity to come up with you.

Lyra is the one that lost the match.

She did a lot. And by the way, that's another one. Fans were cheering. The thing about Becky Lynch, fans love an aggressive Becky Lynch. They do.

I think so.

Better to be tag team champions for a day than never be tag team champions at all. That's what I always say. I know, you say it all the time. I always say it every day. I've heard it before. They did get a WrestleMania moment, but now it seems like... It's one thing to have a spotlight on you because you're tag team partners with Becky Lynch.

I think that going forward, I'm anxious to see the Lyra-Valkyria-Becky Lynch match. And I think that's where you see to what level Lyra-Valkyria can keep up with someone who is the best of the best. The idea that you're going to get in the ring and actually compete with Becky Lynch.

Was he just lying, or is there some logical way to get out of the fact that he doesn't appear to have been loyal to Roman Reigns or CM Punk in any way, shape, or form?

Less cold plunges, more screen time.

I cannot tell you how many times that guy right over there, Gavin, when we were doing the old Raw Talk show, would just have to take the show off the air because I wouldn't stop rambling on about Dominic Mysterio.

And he'd go, guys, five, four, Megan, poor Megan is over here. trying to close the show. And I'm like, I'm not done talking about Dominic yet. Show's just over. Well, regardless, history is shining on that opinion because Dominic Mysterio has, you know, he's gotten booed, which you love.

As long as you win. As long as you win. But look, he keeps winning. He's successful. I don't understand how you can be critical of this strategy. Also, they call him dirty, but he told me he washes and conditions his hair every single day. That's how it gets so luscious. You know what he did? What's that? On Thursday, I did a live Nazi wrestling podcast here in Vegas. And he was my guest.

We're looking at a Roman Reigns who at WrestleMania comes out, and we talked about this on the WrestleMania Raw recap night one. The only thing red that he was wearing was the Ula Fala. Black and white on the wrist and the glove. The Concord 11 black and white boots. And the same thing tonight on Raw. I was out there. We're backstage right now.

We just rolled off the floor and came back here into this room to talk about it. But the T-shirt is a black and white T-shirt. There's no bloodline anymore. Paul Heyman? There wasn't a drop of red on his body as he stood next to Seth Rollins. That was gone. I am so intrigued at the idea of not only Roman Reigns as a certified good guy.

but a certified good guy that is now, for the first time, truly, truly separated from the bloodline.

Yeah, yeah, I did not. Of all the possibilities, and remember, coming off of WrestleMania night one, all I was sitting here was screaming, why? Why? Why would Paul Heyman do this? I, in every sort of crevice of my brain, did not foresee The formation of a modern-day dangerous alliance. The formation of Paul Heyman.

Not here.

Yep. A thousand percent. But you go back to punk and this idea of this alliance forming, and it's just like war games is when we first saw punk and Roman working together. And WWE social media did like millions of views just on the video of them giving looks to each other or Roman, you know, putting his hand in front of him or just that tension existing.

And people were waiting for this eventual one-on-one Roman Punk thing. It's got to explode. But somehow we've gotten to this place where as fans we're watching and it's far more likely, it seems, that we're going to see these two as like a proper, as a tag team.

There's no belt.

It was so stressful. I'm so sorry. He did. Yeah. He raised the hands of both. When he, because he first, he was looking like kind of like almost like when Bron Breaker shows up, it's almost like, uh-oh, what's this X Factor doing here? And then he gave him a hug. Yeah. He raises both the arms. It was disgusting. I thought it was beautiful. It was gross. I thought it was beautiful.

It was disgusting and it was lacking in integrity. I thought it was full of integrity, honestly. You obviously did not see.

And it wasn't even with no bum, bum, bum. None of that. None of that. Right into it.

You're getting back to the glazing conversation. There's no glazing. Not even a dose. Just ask a question. That's all. It's important to ask questions. Listen, I mean, when you talk about Roman Reigns because you brought him up, I think that you have to really understand that coming off of WrestleMania 40, he lost that title. The unthinkable happened.

And by the way, I was not in a great state that day either.

Because Paul Heyman has said in so many interviews, I would never work with anybody except Roman Reigns. If I wasn't working with the tribal chief, I'd be gone. And all of a sudden, not only has he gone over to Seth Rollins, he's gone to the youth. We get a Monday Night Raw where Roman Reigns is not advertised but appears, which is exceptionally rare. He shows up.

If you recall. But he loses the title. And what do we all say? All of us who know how wrestling stories work, we go, this is going to be great. For the next year, he's going to rebuild. And I didn't realize, and I don't think most of us realized, that instead of watching a year of Roman rebuilding, we were actually watching a year of Roman slowly losing everything else.

outside of the title, right? We come off of WrestleMania 41, which you would think is going to be, okay, Roman rebuilds for a year, goes to 41, he's back on top. And instead, he comes out of 41 with even less, less than maybe he's ever had. He is truly completely alone. He's got no title. He's got no wise man. And we are, to your point, for the first time in years,

four years, maybe almost five years, seeing this superstar function alone. It's a pretty remarkable scene.
