And that is when Billy completely loses it. And suddenly, pow, he attacks Alicia and he starts choking her. Then he kicks her in the face. Then, bam, he smashes an unopened bottle of soda on her head. And so she's clearly injured at this point and she needs medical attention. But Billy, he doesn't want to let her leave to get help, so he just holds her hostage there in her own house.
Now, eventually, he takes her car and he leaves, leaving her behind to suffer. And after a bit of time, Alicia manages to gather enough strength to call a taxi, and the taxi takes her to the hospital. While she's there, she contacts police. So now, police have a warrant out for Billy's arrest. A few days later, Alicia is discharged from the hospital, and she knows it's not safe to go back home. I mean, Billy could show up there. So eventually, she checks into a motel to lay low for a while, at least until police catch Billy. And while at the motel, she asks a friend of hers to come stay with her. So that friend comes over and stays with her for a while and keeps her company. Meanwhile, Billy hears that Alicia talked to the cops and that there's a warrant out for his arrest.
And he gets super pissed off and he goes looking for her. And eventually he somehow finds out where she's staying and he shows up to the motel. And there he threatens her and he tells her to drop the charges or else he'll kill her.

And if police catch him, Alicia will definitely testify against him. And he can't let that happen. So he comes up with an insane idea. What if he just murders Alicia? I mean, that way there would be no one to press charges against him. So here's where the story gets dark. Now that Billy's got this new plan, he goes back to the motel where Alicia is, back to her room, and he knocks on the door.
And I don't know if he's pretending to be nice or what, but as soon as she opens the door, Billy enters the room and he pulls out a pistol. And blam, blam, he shoots Alicia. Then blam, he shoots her friend too. After that, he steals the keys to Alicia's rental car. And from there, he goes to pick up this woman, Mary. Now, here's the thing about Billy. Billy, he's a player. While he was dating Alicia, he was also secretly dating Mary. So Billy goes to pick up Mary, and she knows something serious just went down between him and Alicia. But, for whatever reason, she agrees to stick by Billy and be his accomplice. And that's when these two decide that they're gonna go on the run, and they flee the state.
