And soon enough, she gets a reply from this guy, Adrian. Adrian is 31 and he's a handsome dude. Like he used to be a stripper, but now I guess he's a dog sitter. So anyway, he seems like the perfect guy for this job. And Heather hires him. Then Adrian moves into her house with her and he starts taking care of the dogs. And of course, after some time, Heather, she starts thinking, Adrian kind of fine. And Adrian thinks she kind of fine too. And so they start smashing. Now, it doesn't take a long time for Adrian to realize that a lot of things are off about Heather. Like she's always drunk on alcohol or high on cocaine. Not only that, Heather has quite a collection of weapons in her home. Like multiple knives and swords and guns.
And sometimes she uses them to threaten him when she gets mad at him. So of course, Adrian, he doesn't like any of this. This is not what he signed up for. So after only three weeks working on the job, he decides this is enough. I want out. But Heather, she isn't ready to let him go. She tells him, no way. And she threatens that if he leaves her, she'll find him wherever he goes. So now Adrian is scared for his life. I mean, she seems serious about this. So he's stuck there. And he just continues working, taking care of her dogs, hoping that one day he'll get a chance to flee. But then he finally does get that chance. Because Heather enrolls in a four-month screenwriting course all the way over in New York City.
So she leaves for a while. And once she's gone, Adrian seizes the opportunity and he flees. And he moves to the greater Manchester area. A few days later, somehow Heather finds out that he left her house and she is pissed. So from New York, she starts calling him over and over and over again, talking about how much she loves him and how he shouldn't leave her. Then she gets his new address and she starts sending him spicy letters, trying to talk him into getting back with her.

So, very quickly, they start dating, and, you know, they're happy together, and it seems like things are going well for them. But then, Heather gets back from New York, and she finds out that Adrian is dating someone new, and she is furious. And so here is where she really loses her mind. So Heather starts calling Adrian, determined to get him back, and she's like verbally abusing him and making death threats.
She tells him that she put a bounty on his head, and she also claims that Diane is some kind of prostitute for some reason, and she even threatens to hurt Diane. Then it isn't long before Heather somehow gets Diane's contact info, and she starts contacting her and threatening her directly. And several months pass. And at this point, Adrian, he's had enough. So he, Diane, and her kids, they decide to move 30 miles away in Huddersfield. But unfortunately, this doesn't work. Heather somehow finds out where they are and she calls them and harasses them. So they end up moving again, back to the Greater Manchester area.
