Jeff, I I wanna start with you. Obviously whistleblower protection is something that we're we've all been trying to really push for, James, particularly has really been trying to push for this protection. Um and I know speaking to whistleblowers over the years, it's quite a bit for these individuals to come forward. Um, in many cases can have their reputations ruined, their careers ruined, uh everything. So why did you decide to come forward and Tell your story about what you saw.

Yeah, it was a a long journey for me to get there. Um It was a a bit easier for me, I think, because I had actual documentation. I had Air Force records of one of the incursions, the UAP incursions at Vandenberg. So that gave me, you know, some confidence. I had some evidence I could actually provide. And I also had uh a lot of people that I served with, uh, they had my back. So I knew, you know, if the whole world turned on me and started to attack my reputation, that I had, you know, all those people I served with that lived through those events with me, uh, you know, they had my back. So that helped. But uh Yeah, it would the the main focus was seeing all these highly credible veterans come forward over the years, people like Robert Sallas and Robert Jacobs.

uh who I find incredibly uh honorable and credible. And seeing them ridiculed and attacked by the media and trolls and debunkers and and the government saying that they're lying and or insane. And I knew that these events happen, that they're real, they happen all over the the world. And um it just made me angry and frustrated that These people were being ridiculed. So um and then you know the the twenty seventeen article came out in the New York Times and I thought Well, good. Now things are gonna start to come out. People are gonna find the courage to come forward. Um, but that never really happened until you know twenty twenty three with the first hearing. Uh and I had already been involved with Congress and Arrow prior to the hearing.

Uh And I had really wanted to be participate in that first hearing. There was some talk behind the scenes of me participating, uh, but it didn't happen. But uh eventually uh in twenty twenty five I got my opportunity uh and the privilege. to speak about these incidents to the US public under oath. So it was it was quite a journey and uh there was some danger and some threats leading up to that. So it it wasn't all, you know, uh sunshine.
