And now it's time for Ask Roz and Mocha. Are you fools ready to get into it? Hell yeah. Sorry. This is episode 1639 of the Ros and Mocha Show podcast. Ask Razumoka. Always a popular, popular podcast episode, where we go through all the questions that you've thrown at us on Instagram at KISS925. By the way, uh give us a follow and we will invite you to join us on the show to kick things off. Here we go. Dorissa, it's your boyfriend's Razumoka. How are you doing? Hey, good. How are you? Amazing. Um, we've had you on the show before, right? Because your name looks familiar. Yes, many times. Yes. Okay. Well, welcome back. Why you here today? What's going on? Okay. So my question that I have is for a junk drawer to legally qualify as a junk drawer, what is one mandatory item it must include?
Roz Weston 0:56
Oh, easy. For a junk drawer to legally qualify as a junk drawer, uh, it needs to have definitely without question uh takeout chopsticks still in the white packaging. Oh can I throw a suggestion? Yes. Batteries.
Chloe Bernabe 1:11
Yeah, like double A batteries. Yeah. Like loose batteries that are not in the package. I
Dammit Maury 1:16
would say elastic bands.
Unknown 1:18
Sure, rubber bands, yeah. Yeah. Oh, what about a
Chloe Bernabe 1:20
flashlight?
Roz Weston 1:21
Yeah, yeah, sure. Oh, extra, extra phone chargers. No, I see I keep like for me, my junk drawer is junk. Stamps. Right? Stamps. That's in the
Dammit Maury 1:32
coffee. What about you, Mori?

What item must be in a junk drawer for it to officially qualify?

Roz Weston 1:34
No, like like the junk drawer is where you'll find like that one picture frame hook with that tiny little nail. Oh, just like loose loose in the bottom. The junk drawer is when you like I would you would buy things and if you're done using the thing, right, but you have like a couple extra left over, right? Like that goes in the junk drawer. Like an Allen key. Yeah, where you're like, I'm not gonna throw I'm not gonna throw that away. Like the chopsticks or the one picture hang uh the uh frame hanger. Um My
Dammit Maury 2:03
junk drawer has uh has chocolate coins from Hanukkah five years ago.
Roz Weston 2:07
That's just gross. Yes. Uh a g like a glue stick.
Unknown 2:09
Sure. Like old pennies. Like old change.
Roz Weston 2:14
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Unknown 2:16
Darissa, what's in your junk drawer? Um so I actually had two. So one was used birthday candles. Yep. Good one. And the second one was something that stops the drawer from opening or closing properly.
Roz Weston 2:27
Yes. See to me. Oh, sure. Okay. So I'm going to tell you my junk drawer. So the junk drawer at home, uh, it it in itself doesn't have a hard time opening or closing. Every now and then, this is great for a junk drawer. Every now and then, one of the adapters that you bring with you if you go to Europe. Oh, right. Wow. Um goes it sticks up and it's got those huge prongs on it. And so sometimes that jams. But for me. It's not the junk drawer that gets jammed. Underneath the junk drawer, the one drawer down is where all the hats and mitts are. Oh, in your house. Right? In my house. So that's the it's the puffy drawer that winds up sticking. Cause you jam mitts in there, and my kid would open it like two inches and jam in a pair of mitts.
Roz Weston 3:12
Oh, and then it gets stuck in a drawer above. It gets stuck in the drawer button. So there was one point, maybe it was like. Like three months ago, where we have three drawers stacked. Uh-huh. Okay. And the bottom one has papers. So those three drawers were one solid unit for about a month because nobody in the house decided to investigate to find out what was happening. So if you grabbed one drawer, all three opened. Oh my god. So you couldn't access anything other than the top drawer. The bottom drawers were just dead to us, completely dead to us.
Unknown 3:40
And how long did it take to fix? Oh until somebody looked at it, you.
Roz Weston 3:43
Uh the reason it got fixed was because they got the drawers got too heavy and then there was no closing them. So you would close them and then all three throughout a day would slowly make make their way make their way all the way open again. Yeah. So that's what I would say is uh is I I love a junk drawer. There
Dammit Maury 3:58
you
Roz Weston 3:58
go, Derizzan.
Dammit Maury 3:59
Oh, you're forgetting you're forgetting one

lozenges. Lozenge. No, I don't keep lozenges. I keep those in my bathroom. Yeah. Like it's like a tape measure.
