You can grab it right now.
Chapter 3: How did Joshua Keller launch Maximus in 2017?
Here's what a user, Thomas Lornaviticus, said. Latke is the real deal.
Chapter 4: What strategies did Maximus use to bootstrap its growth?
Five stars.
Chapter 5: How did Maximus achieve $75,000 in monthly recurring revenue?
Hey, Nathan, I just listened to your podcast with JLD.
Chapter 6: What is the gross churn rate for Maximus customers?
You killed it.
Chapter 7: How is the Maximus team structured across different locations?
I saw your book earlier last week and thought, meh, I'll wait when Kindle costs $199 or whatever, as I have over 150 books to catch up with. But then I sensed that this book may have something I need right now. I bought it for full price, but didn't really start reading it.
Chapter 8: What future plans does Maximus have for growth and technology?
Then talking with JLD, you mentioned that the strategies may not work if you wait. And that's so true. I read it. I'm feeling pumped to devour it even more. Thank you for sharing it all and kicking ass. Guys, all of you that listen to the podcast, you were the reason I wrote the book. SaaS CEOs, founders, entrepreneurs, go grab it today at capitalistbook.com.
Especially if you like audio, go grab the audible version right now. Again, capitalistbook.com. Launched Maximus in 2017, basically spun it out of his agency, which is hugely successful. Part of a, you know, part of a, basically a conglomerate, which is called Agora up at the top. But in 2017, launches 20 people working on Maximus.
Again, about 25 customers today spending, you call it 75 grand per month in terms of total revenue. 30% annual logo turn to date as they look to kind of fine tune who the perfect customer is. That team of 20 based out between New York City, Miami, LA, Austin, Ukraine, and India bootstrapped so far.
This is the Top Entrepreneurs Podcast, where founders share how they started their companies and got filthy rich or crash and burn. Each episode features revenue numbers, customer counts and other insider information that creates business news headlines. We went from a couple of hundred thousand dollars to two point seven million. I had no money when I started the company.
It was one hundred and sixty million dollars, which is the size of the IPOs.
We're a bit strapped. We have like twenty two thousand customers. With over 5 million downloads in a very short amount of time, major outlets like Inc. are calling us the fastest growing business show on iTunes. I'm your host, Nathan Latka, and here's today's episode. Hello, everyone. My guest today is Josh Keller. He's got over 16 years of experience in digital marketing.
He's the co-founder of Union Square Media Group and Maximus Live. An expert in native advertising, his revenue has exceeded a third of a billion in the past nine years. He has served as a member of board of directors for Spark Networks and SupATX. All right, Joshua, you ready to take us to the top? I sure am. All right. I appreciate it. Of course. So tell us about the company.
What do you do and how do you make money?
Well, there's a couple of different companies within that. Global Gore is a holding company that owns two of the companies that I actually run. One is Union Square Media. The other is Maximus. Union Square Media is a typical agency.
