01 Oct 2016
Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is The Top, where I interview entrepreneurs who are number one or number two in their industry in terms of revenue or customer base. You'll learn how much revenue they're making, what their marketing funnel looks like, and how many customers they have.
Chapter 2: What businesses did Brad Costanzo sell before consulting?
I'm now at $20,000 per top. Five and six million.
Chapter 3: How did Brad transition from selling businesses to consulting?
He is hell-bent on global domination. We just broke our 100,000-unit soul mark.
Chapter 4: What is Brad's revenue model for his consulting business?
And I'm your host, Nathan Latka. Okay, Top Tribe, this week's winner of the $100 is Rich Jones. Okay, Rich Jones, he is stuck in corporate. He wants to break free.
Chapter 5: What unique strategies does Brad use in equity crowdfunding?
He's binging on the show. For your chance to win 100 bucks every Monday morning, simply subscribe to the podcast right now on iTunes and then text the word Nathan to 33444 to prove that you did it. Folks, many of you heard I made a big league acquisition of a business. NathanLacka.com forward slash send later is the name of the business.
And I didn't want to give up equity to a developer because I'm a business guy.
Chapter 6: How does Brad's coffee business differentiate itself in a competitive market?
So what I did is I used a website to find a guy named He Sheming. I paid He over $12,000 to help me build send later. And the site that I am using now is called Topdol at NathanLacka.com forward slash T-O-P.
Chapter 7: What storytelling techniques does Brad employ in branding?
I will build SendLater into a big business and I will take it public by the time I turn 30. I'll tell you more later on in the episode.
Chapter 8: What challenges has Brad faced in launching Stiletto Coffee?
Nathan Lack here. This is episode 435. Coming up tomorrow morning, you're going to hear from Victor Levitan. He did $4.5 million on eBay and now has a SaaS business that just hit $25,000 in monthly recurring revenue to help sellers sell on eBay with his company Crazy Lister. Top Tribe, good morning to you. Our guest today is Brad Costanzo.
He's an entrepreneur, investor, and business consultant who has built and sold two digital businesses and is now helping companies to use proven marketing campaigns, innovative branding, and strategic alliances to grow their revenue. He's also host of the Bacon Rabbit Business Podcast on iTunes. Brad, are you ready to take us to the top? I'm ready to rock. You sold two digital businesses.
Which were they?
They were a publishing business that I had selling information products.
What was the name of that one?
Well, that one was, it was a, there was a multitude of products. So there wasn't just one name. I mean, there was, it was an LLC that I sold. However, the, there was a dating and relationship advice product. There was a personal development product and there was a real estate investment product that were all inside that portfolio.
Yeah, you know everyone's listening right now rolling their eyes going, oh, why did Nathan let one of these dating guys on his show, right? But we're going to turn that around in a second, right?
Well, what's funny is I was never even in the dating, although I was selling some stuff to dating advice, I was never in this whole pickup community and I was never really a part of that. I just recognized kind of a cool little hole in the community.
And, uh, long story short, I, I realized that, um, people who are selling dating advice, we're talking about, oh yeah, occasionally I use magic tricks to meet women, et cetera. And I was like, okay, I like magic tricks. I'm going to create a course teaching guys how to use basic magic tricks along with all of the other stuff they're doing. So I was never even really selling dating advice.
