EP 84: How to Spend $.05 Per Click and Make $2 On that Same Click with Bazi Hassan
16 Oct 2015
Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is The Top, where I interview entrepreneurs who are number one or number two in their industry in terms of revenue or customer base. You'll learn how much revenue they're making, what their marketing funnel looks like, and how many customers they have. I'm now at $20,000 per talk. Five and six million. He is hell-bent on global domination. We just broke our 100,000-unit soul mark.
And I'm your host, Nathan Latka. Okay, Top Tribe, fall is in the air, and yesterday you heard me speak with Laura Belgray, who walks through how she works with Bravo, HBO, and others to make $30,000 a month in her service-based business. All right, guys, I am putting my heart and soul into the show. So these five-star ratings mean so much to me. Everyone is rated five stars.
The show is number one on Inc. Everybody's loving it. So thank you, Matt McWilliams, who said, great job. He gave five stars and said, wow. Additionally, thank you, Michael Iglesias. Joe Strudel, Mr. Abrams 23 on Apple, along with a slightly off chorus with the K. Thanks for that five-star review on September 9th. Ryan H03K, thank you guys so much.
Guys, if you want a shout-out on an upcoming show, go leave an honest rating right now on iTunes. A few more big thank yous. Jules Garcia, thank you for the five-star review. My mom gave me a five-star review. Thank you, mom. I love you. Neil Patel gave me a five-star review. Thank you, sir. Guys, everyone's loving the show.
If you could help me out and go leave a review now, I would really appreciate it. Good morning, Top Tribe. Good to be with you. Another day, another morning. I hope you are driving to work, you're well on your way, and there's no traffic because you're going to love our guest today. His name is Bazzi Hassan. He is an internet marketing ninja.
He's generated over $1 million in sales online in 16 months, promoting other people's offers, or as you guys know, basically as an affiliate. So Bazzi, are you ready to take us to the top?
Yes, Nathan. I'm pumped and ready to just share all the value for your audience.
I can't wait. It's going to be a lot of fun. Tell us all first, what is your main focus right now? What are you focused on selling?
Right now, I've promoted a bunch of different things online, but my main focus is digital products. I'm also launching a coaching platform as well for people. That's my main focus.

Chapter 2: What is the main focus of Bazi Hassan's online business?
You can swipe your competitors' customers away in another way.
So, Bazzi, is this stuff legal?
Yeah, it's legal, completely legal. And yeah, as long as, you know, you're just basically taking your customers, you know, before they land onto, I've got to really explain it in more detail. Basically where the traffic is coming from is toolbars online and it's pop-up traffic. So, um, Before, like, you know, let's say someone went to buy my cool spot.
Before they, when they land on my page, Nathan has his landing page pop over. So the audience, the visitor sees Nathan's landing page before even seeing mine. So, you know, it just gives you that advantage, you know, that advantage, really good advantage.
So you said there's two critical things. One, get cheap traffic, but two, send them to a landing page where you get like a 30 or 40% opt-in rate. What are you doing on that landing page to get them to opt in at that high rate? Are you asking a question? Tell us what that landing page looks like.
You have to hire a good copywriter. Definitely worth hiring someone that's good with words. And you have to add a lot of elements into it. You have to add scarcity. You have to add social proof.

Chapter 3: How does Bazi generate revenue through affiliate marketing?
You have to make it seem less overcomplicated. Just make your message as simple as possible. So it kind of appeals to the generic audience, the broader audience. Don't make it as advanced. You know, some people have seen the landing pages. They've written like two paragraphs and they get low results, right?
So you have to make sure that the message is straight to the point and it's an irresistible offer. It's irresistible for them to exchange their email for what you have on the other side.
Sure, sure. Well, guys, I'll tell you guys, those of you listening right now struggling with, you know, what title do you put on your landing page? How do you write compelling copy? You're going to love, I just did an episode, an episode 83 with Laura Belgray. She actually writes the 30 second teasers for like Bravo when the Real Housewives, the new show comes out.
She'll write the teasers to get more people binge watching on that show. It's all about copywriting. You'll also enjoy episode 34 with Neville Medora. He's part of the copywritingcourse.com. And he works with a lot of these landing page copy stuff. So, Bozzy, that's really, really valuable feedback. So let me ask you something. When you're buying this traffic, you are building your own list.
And then you're marketing to that list other people's products like this mope.com or this nophonebiz.com, right?
That's correct, yeah. That's the best way to start off, I think. Because me, personally, when I started, obviously, I didn't have much budget. I started really low capital, and I thought, I can't build my own company right now. It's better if I build someone else's company, and in the future, I'll build something for myself.
So how much total, when did you start doing this? How many years ago?
Okay, I started about, I would say, three and a half years ago. I would say I had probably like $5,000 in total.
In total? In total.

Chapter 4: What strategies does Bazi use to get cheap and targeted traffic?
And I do a lot of research and I interview, I mean, I survey customers as well. And I really see what they're struggling with, the main components. And I'm planning to coach them on these strategies and stuff like that.
So you survey them, you find the pain points, then market products to them that fit those pain points.
That's right. You just said it. Yeah.
There you guys go. Look at this guy. Top tribe. Look at this guy. He's crushing it. I love it, Bazzi. That's good stuff. So before I, of course, before I get into my favorite part of the show, anything else you want to add about how these funnels are working and any secrets that we don't know about yet?
The secret to it is just staying consistent, really, and just, you know, believing in your offer and understand that you can make it work. It's just, you know, for some people, they just don't have the patience to test things out. But understand when you really test things out to the T and you really perfect your funnel, you can make a lot of money and it's there for the long term.
And yeah, it's just really worth it. It's really worth it.
Well, there you go. And I didn't ask, Bazzi, but I want to ask. So over three and a half years, how much total money have you made?
In commissions, I've probably done about $1.1 million in sales revenue, and I'll say about $500,000 I've cleared in affiliate commissions. And I do a bunch of different stuff.
So you're on average getting paid about 50% of the offer that you're marketing?
