Jeff Skinner, the veteran winger for the San Jose Sharks, has been a healthy scratch for two straight weeks now. He's a six-time 30-goal scorer who signed a one-year, $3 million deal over the summer, but suddenly he's watching from the stands.
In his last six games, from December 31st to January 11th, Skinner had two goals and six points, feeling like he was contributing well.
