BAFTA-nominated British-Nigerian actor Fehinti Balogun has a busy schedule - having appeared on our screens in edgy British dramas like I May Destroy You and Down Cemetery Road, treaded the boards all over London and even had a walk-on appearance in the blockbuster Dune: Part One. But alongside all of that, he's also in the spotlight as a climate activist, co-creating the Green Rider initiative which sees actors call for their sets to make sustainable decisions, and touring a film combines spoken word, rap, theatre, animation, and scientific facts, offering audiences a reflective and participatory experience. The film - called Can I Live? - will appear in next month's WORD Christchurch Festival, accompanied by a post-film panel headed by Tame Iti (Ngai Tuhoe), MahMah Timotei and Paora Tapsell (Ngati Whakaue, Ngati Raukawa).
