Blake Price 2:06
Anyway, glad to be with you.
Matt Sekeres 2:07
Yeah. Mike, I'm going to need you, okay?
Blake Price 2:11
That was a printer, but we're going to do it to the mainframe here. It's owner. Oh, my God. I'm going to treat the computer like the bison treated the old dude at Yellowstone. That's what's going to happen.
Matt Sekeres 2:25
You know, I see these videos of people getting out of their cars to get- Apparently he was twice the recommended distance. He was twice the recommended distance. It's a freaking bison. If it charges at you, you've got problems. I don't care the distance. Bison safety. Right. That's where, so anyways, I hope everybody had a splendid weekend. I know I sure did because on Saturday I got my first opportunity to head down to the official FIFA fan fest at the P and E. Uh, I had seen Jack pool Plaza. I'd spent some time on Granville during world cup festivities, but I did want to get to the P and E where it's all going down. And, uh, Got a chance to see our friends, the matinee play. They did the pregame concert there and were outstanding as always.
Matt Sekeres 3:23
And then we made our way into the new amphitheater, Blake, to watch the England-Norway match. Yeah, there's the matinee. There's our buddies, Jeff and Matt on guitar who are absolutely killing it. And thank you to the two of them and the whole crew for being such great hosts with us. And then we made our way into the amphitheater to watch the England Norway match. And my first opportunity to see anything there, I know some of you may have been to concerts, Motley Crue, Blues Traveler. It's been a really nice list of acts who have come out to perform and open this new venue up. My goodness, is it outstanding. It looks great. Simple, simple, right? Like just the way it's constructed and the sight lines are beautiful.
Matt Sekeres 4:13
Yeah, there's some video of it that I took on Saturday. And this is going to be a real asset for Vancouver going forward for summer concert series. Well, just, and more, right? Because there's a lot of versatility to that space. So in terms of legacy of Vancouver hosting concerts, We're having World Cup hosting duties in 2026. Hey. This one will endure.
Blake Price 4:39
Yeah, it's a good one. And, you know, all the elements that can strike Vancouver kept away. Yeah. You can schedule an outdoor concert.
Matt Sekeres 4:49
If the rain's coming sideways, there's still going to be some wet people there. But I hear what you're saying.
