And we're going with the contender credentials and just, you know, kind of dissect these two teams against the top 10 this year. So we'll start with the Cats and you look at them win tonight and it basically solidifies their place into fifth or sixth position. Really easy run home that they finished with Essendon, North Melbourne and Richmond. What I want to put on watch is that they're eight and four against top 10 sides this year with their heaviest defeat coming against the Lions, which was 22 points a couple of weeks ago. And, you know, arguably should have won that game. And they started the game really slowly.
First 15, 20 minutes, that game was kind of put to bed. The big watch with Geelong and for the rest of the competition is that their profile is arguably the best against the contenders this year, which is scary for the competition. So you look at their bookends of the ground, number two points for, number two points against. This is just against top 10 teams. This is just against the top 10. That's going to hold them in really good stead. Their ability to punish from intercept, number two in the competition. And then you look at them defending intercept, also number two in the competition. So their profile is on par with the Freeman. And like I said, arguably the best in the competition. So it's just a bit of a watch.
Look, they lost some games early in the year, which is going to cost them a top four spot. And I think they'll be kicking themselves a little bit.
Corey, just one but on that. And to me, Holmes would have played in all those games, yes? Yes. Yes, yes, yep, yep, yep.
