Or an amount of time. Could be weeks, could be months. And making a habit of religiously doing that one kind of puzzle every day. And sort of folding it into my routine. You may have a puzzle that is similar to you. Or you might be like me and change which puzzle that is. And it might be one that I do in the morning. And I will say that I used to do puzzles in the morning as a way of waking me up, as a way of engaging my brain for the day. I used to do that a lot more regularly, but I haven't done that in a while. I don't really need much help getting up in the morning these days. Not to say that it isn't difficult to wake up, but I suppose it's probably more the case that I don't really have much free time when I'm awake.
You know, I'm looking after a little one. As soon as I'm awake. And that is pretty good at getting your brain engaged. I don't so much need a puzzle for that. More so nowadays. I'm finding puzzles that help me fall asleep at night. I'll do a few puzzles before I go to bed. And that is either through... the relaxing element of that puzzle for some reason it will have a relaxing element or it is the fact that it is so taxing on my brain or allows me to think laterally in a particular way that then makes me sleepy and I find that quite helpful And it's funny how puzzles can do both those things. And I suppose it's just now, as I'm talking about it, that I begin to realize that there are lots of different kinds of puzzles.
You know, puzzles are essentially games that you play with yourself. and in that sense they have such a wide breadth of genre and theme and complexity and I think that's part of the reason why I like them so much I can get excited about them hello and good evening by the way my name's Andrew
