I think it was an incredible victory. The boys are full of confidence at the minute. We went to Stamford Bridge a few weeks ago and got the three points and we had full confidence we can do the same again tonight if we put in 100%.
Well, you certainly did that. Was it actually more straightforward in some ways than you expected?
No, we had to work extremely hard for that. We knew nothing was expected of us tonight.

We knew the pressure was off. We knew if we defended as well as we did against Chelsea, we'd hit them on the counter-attack and we did exactly that.
Give us an idea of your manager's thinking going into this game, Andros. Was it about hitting Christian as early as possible?
Yeah, I think it was about getting the ball to Christian and getting runners off him, getting myself and Wilf running behind and getting the bits off Christian. And I think we implemented his tactics to a tee tonight and it was a great three points and a well-needed three points.
The way you celebrated it, it seemed very significant to the Palace players and to the fans as well. What do you think now in terms of your chances of survival, having beaten Chelsea and now Arsenal?
I think we need to get our heads back in the game and focus on Saturday. When we beat Chelsea, we didn't follow up against Southampton and we lost.

I think the more important thing is use in the right way your players. And Sam made this. And I watched a team, compact, strength, desperate to make a result. Another team, not so team, to try to play well, to go around, to make something, but not desperate.

I don't think so. I think that Sam Allardyce has a formula in this Premier League and he sticks to it, whatever club he goes to. And it's a guarantee of staying in the Premier League. And I think if he'd have stayed at Sunderland this year, I don't think he'd have gone down. Next season, you'll be looking at Crystal Palace and thinking, they won't be in a relegation fight. He's got a method.

But he's an absolute saviour for club chairman up and down this country. The first thing you think of as soon as your manager's in trouble is Big Sam and a job. Can we get him? And maybe it takes time for him to get his message across. But when it gets across, they get the results. There are times you don't expect. 3-0 tonight could have been five. Absolutely battered them. And, no, I don't think they've got any problems now, obviously, of going down.

I think that we had the opportunities of course to score goals and I think that Tonight, tactically, was the players being aware of what had to happen to beat Arsenal, and I think the first thing was to defend correctly as an 11, to frustrate the Arsenal, keep them playing sideways and backwards, and then to use the ball into the spaces behind the full-backs.
We were offering Christian Benteke as quickly as we possibly could to fill the area, win the knockdown and get into wide areas and get balls in the box. And I thought the weaknesses with Arsenal have been defensively because they leave Mustafi and Gabriel, they're really exposed. Monreal and Beryl in play like right and left wingers.
The wingers come inside with a centre forward and they're just left on their own. So if you can get at them quickly through midfield and into wide areas or off Christian, you can get in the opposition's box, you can get chances. And today with the work rate, the determination of the team to log on to Arsenal's team when they had possession.
We won a lot of possession off them and created lots of chances, and certainly Yohan Kabay's goal in the second half, what a finish, and it's down to his down to us shutting down throw-ins, which not a lot of people see. You obviously know that as professionals, Karen, Claudio, but that was the basis of us getting so many attacks off and then in the end quality, quality finishing and it wasn't...
It wasn't a shock tonight in terms of our performance for me because when we played at Chelsea that way, we won that game. I mean, I think the result is a shock for everybody, but the performance was there against Chelsea and if they could repeat that, they might get something tonight. And they did that and did it better.
