Chapter 1: What were the key moments in the Leicester vs Manchester United match?
And what is love? If this building knows nothing, we'll never see how far we've come.
Manchester City, Graham, why were they so off the speed today?
Well, the obvious thing, the big game in midweek, but a lot of those players are not going to be involved in that, and you can see why. To pick and choose, if you're at a big football club, to pick and choose when you want to give 100% is not acceptable. I think that typifies Man City's season, that 90 minutes. They've not been at it enough times this year, even the French players.
When you think of the stats, 60% possession away from home, you're thinking they must have had a good day. They did between the two boxes, the two business ends, the attacking end, defending end. When it got to those two areas, there was no urgency, there was no desire, there was no aggression.
And for a team to win as easily as that, Southampton, having 40% of the ball tells you something is not right. If you have that much ball and you defend properly, you're always in with a chance. They just didn't do anything right today for me. They played it like a five-a-side, like a game that didn't really matter. And that's alarming. And that's why City have not won the league this year.
Because I still believe they have the best group. But too many times this year, they've not shown the correct attitude. Their desire has not been there. And it leaves the door open for Man United. Because if you think of Man City's next game, after possibly losing in Madrid, is Arsenal at home. We don't know what's up. Arsenal will turn up.
And then after that, they've got Swansea away who have won four of their last home games. So they're not certain to be in the Champions League next year. Then you think of Pep Guardiola coming to a Man City team and not in the Champions League. That is a poor, poor performance today by Man City. In every shape, in every form.
How alarming for you, Thierry? It is alarming. I do not think that we're going to see the same Man City that we saw today. We're not going to see the same Man City at Bernabeu. But that doesn't mean I'm going to have to agree with you that you need to pick and choose which game you want to play or not. Those guys on the field should have been good enough today to perform against Southampton.
And today I don't want to take anything away from Mane, Tadic and for me the man of the match.

Chapter 2: Why did Manchester City struggle against Southampton?
They could do whatever they want. They had space. They could turn. They could control, let the ball off. You want it? No, I want it. You have it? No, I have it. That's not good enough.
It's not the only reason why a lot of foreign players like English football and they want to stay in English football. Obviously, our league is the most watched, the most exciting. But another part of it, they like it here because if you work at a big club abroad and you put a performance in like that, They're waiting for you when you get back to the airport.
They're waiting for you when you get back to the training ground. You can't get out of the training ground. And the following week, your life's miserable because the crowd are not happy with you. Man City are now a big football club. That won't happen to those Man City players when they get home tonight to Manchester. It won't happen to them in training next week.
It'll be the manager who got it wrong. The players get away with it now. And those players there deserve extreme criticism for whether it was 1,000 or 2,000 people that travelled from Manchester today to go down and watch that performance of people maybe putting in a 75% effort today in a football match that mattered to City.
And when you're looking at the game, the one outstanding player there, the one player that continually wanted the ball, the one player that ran forward with aggression, sometimes put his foot in, was a 19-year-old boy, the one who gets a fabulous goal. At any level, that game's wrong. And Man City, no matter what happens between now and the end of the season, have not had a good season.
They might end up winning the Champions League. But they have short-changed their supporters far too many times this year. Far too many times. They've not been consistent. They have the best group of players. And for whatever reason, for whatever reason, and we could argue all night about it, they have not turned up in too many games this year.
They have been a disappointment to their supporters this year.
Down at St Mary's, he gambled with his team selection today and it did not pay off. Let's hear from Manuel Pellegrini with Greg Whelan.
Manuel, you selected a team that you thought would win today. What was your verdict, though, on what you saw?

Chapter 3: What impact did player attitude have on Manchester City's performance?
We depend on what we can do in the next two games. We are three points behind Arsenal. If we beat Arsenal, we are going to be in the third position, waiting for the last game. So it's exactly the same. We continue depending on what we can do. Thank you.
Manuel Pellegrini and Manchester City with one huge week ahead. Here at Old Trafford today, it finished 1-1 between United and Leicester, mutual respect between the two managers afterwards. United took the lead, Leicester responding like champions. They didn't secure the title today, but Ranieri and Leicester were happy with the point.
performance was good after the first 15 minutes before our goals we was a little little scared United start very very well as a big big teams move the ball very well and it was very difficult for us to to restart and make something good after our goals I think we played better and there is a good chance for them for us and all the matches I think the draw is a is a right result.
I think we played one of our best matches of the season and it was not enough because we have created a lot of chances. You have to score, but we didn't score. Do you think you should have had a penalty as well?
Yeah, I've not seen it back, but it's Riyad, and we know what he's going to do, and he's got that chaff in the bag. I've not seen it back, but if it's not a penalty, I don't think he got booked, so what is it? But it's just one of them, we're happy with the point.
If you see the first three kicks, Fellaini kicked Huth, and it wasn't a good show for him. When you see what Huth is doing with Fellaini, Yeah, that's a penalty. Shall I grab you with your hair? And what is your reaction when I grab your hair? Your hair is much shorter than Villani, but when I do that, what are you doing then?
He can't react like that, though, can he, with an elbow in another player? No, I think that's a normal reaction. Where does this leave you in terms of top four? Need him some big favours?
Yeah, it's tough. It's going to be tough now, I think. We felt before the game we had to win, we had to take maximum points out of our remaining games. So we're relying on other teams. So it is going to be tough, but we'll keep going, keep trying to win our games and see what happens.
In spite of the draw, the fans were applauding and cheering. that is significant look for us is important to continue to dream continue to work and uh and then if if there there will be the the the Tottenham victory. Do you know three matches ago I said, in my mind, Tottenham will win all the matches and then we are very, very concentrated in this.

Chapter 4: How did Southampton capitalize on Manchester City's weaknesses?
And Jamie Vardy set to return, of course, at home to Everton next weekend. The team today, though, Thierry, was that the performance we saw out there of champions?
Yes, indeed, but not only today. They've been doing that throughout the whole season. We question them when they lost against Arsenal. Can they bounce back from that? Earlier, before the Arsenal game, I think they lost against Liverpool and drew at home, missed a penalty, missed a 1v1. They didn't score in two games, oh, that's it, they're going to lose it. They didn't.
Every single time they keep on answering to all the questions. And once again today, yes, they played like champions. They are not champions yet, but it's soon going to be.
The reason I say particularly today is for 10, 15 minutes, it looked like they might be absolutely steamrollers because United looked like United. They really looked at it.
It did look like it. And I think I was talking about respect at the beginning. Like, you remember, I was talking about them taking pictures, looking at, you know, the stand. And maybe it did play a bit apart at the beginning of the game. They were showing Man United too much respect And then, again, they went back to what made them the best team in England so far.
Resilient, fighting, attitude, character. And they came back into the game through the captain. All those qualities we saw in Spades.
Yeah, think of this. You go back to the start of the season. The team at the end of last season, this time last year, they're fighting for their lives. So their mindset at the start of the season is what? It's going to be another grind for us, guys. It's going to be nip and tuck again. Let's make sure it's not down to the last game of the season for us to stay up.
So they've gone from that mindset, would have started like that, to where they are right now. And would have been for the last couple of months leading the pack at the top
dealing with that, living in a small town, small city, Leicester, with the pressure, everyone saying you're going to win it, you're going to win it, someone managing to keep all the expectation in-house, you've got managers playing it down every opportunity. They deserve so much credit for the way they've handled themselves and got themselves this far.
