All right. So on today's episode of the Speech and Language Kids podcast, I'm going to be giving you a quick overview of of what we're going to be doing this summer to help our speech language professionals get ready for next school year, in addition to some really exciting changes that we have coming for this coming fall that I want you guys to get involved in as well. So I am here to help you. I am here to walk you through what this summer is going to look like.
So let's go. I am speech language pathologist Kari Clark. If I am new to you, hello and welcome. If you are listening to this podcast, then you should know that I have a membership site called The Hub, which is located at hub.speechandlanguagekids.com. And that's where I am live right now. All right, so the hub is really important to what I'm talking about today because as most of you probably know, I have children at home and they like to hang out with me over the summer. Hey, Raven, welcome. They hang out with me over the summer. They don't like summer school, so they hang out and we do mommy school.
We've actually been running through the core language program with both of them to kind of brush up those literacy and language skills. So that's been really great so far. But they are home and I know that we are busy, I know that you guys are busy over the summer, and I know that most of you are not in your regular workplace over the summers because you are on summer break. Now obviously that's not everybody, but we do have a large, large base of school-based speech-language pathologists in the Northern Hemisphere, so a lot of you are on summer break right now. And what we wanted to do here at Speech and Language Kids is give you guys a really fun activity that will keep you engaged and motivated to get organized this summer.
So during the school year, everything's hectic, everything's crazy. We don't have time to sit down and really put our systems in place. But having a system is the game changer. When speech language pathologists have a system, a plug and play ready to go system like we provide inside the Hub, what we do for you is make your therapy better, right? So we're gonna have better therapy outcomes, faster progress for clients. It's going to make you feel more calm, less stressed, because you have a system that you know works.
Why is having a plug‑and‑play therapy system a game‑changer for SLPs?
You don't have to guess at what the children need. You don't have to spend hours planning or searching for activities. Everything's built into our system, including the therapy activities and materials. And so you're going to feel less stressed, you're going to feel less burnt out, and you're going to feel more supported with our whole community of people that are in there. And then that's going to lead to better outcomes for you as SLPs, but also as businesses. So if you are a business owner or if you are a clinic director or you supervise other SLPs, then knowing that this type of a system exists and is getting results for other SLPs really can make all the difference for your team as well. So what we're going to do this summer is I'm going to help as many of you as possible get set up using our framework, our system, and get all of this ready to go.
so that when next school year comes, you're ready to hit the ground running and you have a system that works. Also, in addition to that, I also want to get as many of you on team programs or team plans as we can. And so a team plan is when we get everyone at your entire workplace on the same system. So imagine if you're struggling with a client and you go to a colleague and you say, oh, I'm really struggling with this one, and they are also using the same system as you, and they can say,
