Steve discusses how although massage for recovery has traditionally not been particularly well utilised in the sport of Judo, when employed correctly it can play a hugely important role in sports performance, from elite right through to recreational. About The Guest: Steve Miller is a Sports Physiotherapist and Founder of Grow Physio Academy, currenty works for UK Sports Institute (UKSI) in a rehabilitation specialist role with GB Judo athletes. He has also represented medical teams in English Premiership Rugby at Newcastle Falcons, British Gymnastics, Lawn tennis Association, and at Olympic & Commonwealth Games. Steve lectures at Newcastle, Sheffield Hallam and Gloucester Universities, teaching Physiotherapy (BSc), Sports Physiotherapy (MSc), Sports Therapy (BSc) & Sport & Exercise Medicine. He runs Nationwide & International Sports Injury Courses and is a popular speaker at conferences.
